I won't lie, I got a Ricoh after watching EYExplore and of course, Samuel Streetlife! I discovered this camera through them in 2020, and was sitting on buying one for a while due to expenses, but, I finally got one earlier this year! Such a lovely little, and powerful, camera!
I have a Ricoh GR digital from 2005 and love it. I use it in combination with my Huawei p10 plus and a Hama card uploader. I edit using the software in the P10 plus. I carry a spare battery. I then upload to my Facebook and Instagram stories. I live in Stroud UK and I am 77 years old. That little GR has been a life changer for me. I use Ricoh lenses on my K mount 35mm film cameras. Favourite lens is the 28mm f2. 8 Rikenon p lens.

It was Sam and Sean’s videos that got me on to the GRiii, been using a Leica Q for street and it drew too much attention. Thanks guys for the inspiration and great content. Thanks to everyone for the event especially the guys from Ricoh and let’s try to have a catch up soon ! Someone please get the gang back together via Instagram…….DM

What will we do if Ricoh get out of the camera market?
I have been considering a GR for a few yrs when I want to travel light. However I hear that dust is an issue with them.
