I love that you considered Jessica for Wimbledon. I think a lot of people underestimate her on grass and I think if she’s fit and confident she could have a great result at Wimbledon 2025!
I feel the biggest problem with Pegula is her age and the fact she’s been getting injured quite a bit lately. Also, no woman has ever won their first Grand Slam singles title while aged 30 or over aside from Flavia Pennetta at the 2015 USO, who retired from professional tennis not too long after that.
@ I don’t find that her age is a problem yet because she’s the most fit she’s ever been in her career and she’s playing better tennis than she ever did. I think her time is more limited than the other younger top 10 players however I still think she’ll win at least before she retires
I don’t see Coco being better than Iga and Aryna throughout the whole season, Iga lost with her because she was right after a very challenging two month break, Aryna won a lot in the end of the season, so I think she wasn’t physically as fresh as Coco, Gauff has potential, but for me Iga and Aryna are way better than the rest of WTA, including Coco
2025 and beyond, COCO GAUFF 2.0 will rewrite history. The WTA tournament was a preview. Underestimate this version of Coco at your peril🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
1:19 Plot Twist maybe Aryna and Iga were tired at the end of the season which is why they lost to Gauff who was more recovered physically but mentally because she didn’t do well yet at tournaments this year? 🧐
umm you don't "recover mentally" by taking a bunch of early losses in the middle of the season - you recover mentally by winning again. that would actually negatively affect your mentality. Coco Gauff worked on her game in real time, fixed her serve and the results reflected that. She now, goes into the off season with confidence that the work she's doing is elevating her game. This is exactly what Serena did at the end of 2001 and by the next year she was consistently beating players she lost to in 2001 (namely Venus and Capriati) . By 2002 she won 3 slams.
Aryna skipped the Olympics to rest and focus on other tournaments. She was actually just as fresher than Coco. Im not sure why you all seem to think that Coco wont best Aryna - it's weird considering that Coco barely lost their match at the AO, she barely lost in Beijing bc Coco made enough double faults to lose 5 games and at the WTA championships Coco wins again against Aryna. Coco can hang with Aryna.
I agree with you, Coco is ready for her second singles grand slam. 2025 will be very interesting with all the coaching changes and new stars. Sabalenka is always a threat and Iga is still the best except the other top ladies up their game consistently. Muchova and Badosa are both ready for top ten and have the game for it. I don’t know if Paolini and Navarro will be able defend the grand slam points and remain in the top ten. The way Navarro performed during the Asian swing was so shocking. Schneider also got top ten potential.
My predictions for the 2025 Grand Slams: AO: Qinwen Zheng def Iga Swiatek Dark Horses: Naomi Osaka / Danielle Collins FO: Coco Gauff def Aryna Sabalenka Dark Horses: Karolina Muchova / Elina Avanesyan WI: Karolina Muchova def Jessica Pegula Dark Horses: Emma Raducanu / Daria Kasatkina UO: Naomi Osaka def Coco Gauff Dark Horses: Diana Schaider / Linda Noskova Pretty out there predictions I know since I didn't pick any of Sabalenka, Swiatek or Rybakina to win a slam, but despite how strong they all are, I think we could get a suprising year next year where we get a different winner for each slam and some suprising wins/losses
My Prediction is that COCO GAUFF 2.0 will win Australian Open and US OPEN. She'll definitely be a threat at Roland Garros and Wimbledon.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
AO - Rybakina - after a long layoff, her performances at the WTA finals were very encouraging. She should be more settled in 2025 after coaching change. RG - Paolini - last year's experiences will stand her in good stead and her game is suited to clay Wim - Coco - Underestimated on grass, where her movement is a real asset US - Saba - has done well there before and her game suits the surface
Here is my prediction. Gauff and QinWen Zheng will win grand slams, Swiatek will not win a grand slam in 2025 and she will lose French Open. Sabalenka will win at least one grand slam. I know Muchova will be in the top 10 possibly even top 5. Muchova has higher potential than Badosa. Paolini does not like to play Zheng or Muchova, she is 0:4 lifetiem against Muchova and lost to Zheng in all their matches. The players on the rise will be Gauff, Zheng, Rybakina, Muchova and Badosa. Sabalenka will stay as No.1. Players on the way down Swiatek Paolini, Krejikoa and Dasha. Year End ranking Sabalenka, Gauff, Rybakina, Zheng, Swiatek. Muchova. Badosa, Andreeva, Navarro and Kalinskaya.
I don't do predictions, but I want Aryna to reign supreme, then Elena, then Jessi, and for Naomi, Leylah, Caroline, Sloane, Bianca, Paula, Emma to have a good year. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I predict that Karolina Pliskova, Victoria Azarenka and Sloane Stephens may well all retire in 2025 or possibility take a break to start a family [obviously Azarenka has already got a son]

@@qualityshottennis I don’t see that huge difference between QF and SF, what matters is also that Iga wins most of her finals and can concentrate under pressure. @@AC-ss5oy Under Brad and the coaches before him, Coco's potential was stagnated. Her serve issues were never addressed, and only given complicated game plans that took away her superior athletism and problem solving capabilities. Under Tim Daly, she has begun to thrive. Tim's game plan is a simple one. For Coco to go out there and problem solve and use her athletism. That's why I can confidently say that she will win the Australian Open and the US OPEN. She can still be a threat at ROLAND GARROS and WIMBLEDON. Like I said, Coco has superior problem solving capabilities and athletism. Now that her serve and forehand are beginning to click. She will be a threat for every slam, 500s, 1000s and Masters. The recently concluded WTA tournament has all sides of Coco. The comprehensive victories over the world no.2 and no.1. Also I don’t agree with you on the point that Gauff would have won (Wuhan) IF her df would be less… every player has strengths and weaknesses. There’s a reason why Gauff df a lot because she goes for speed rather than placement. Sometimes she hits a 200+ kmh serve but then a double fault right after. Sabalenka for example learned how to use the serve effectively and I see her as a more complete / better player atm. 😅
Sabalenka herself said that she should have lost that match against her, because Coco was playing so good. But because her serve continued to fail her; that's why Sabalenka won Wuhan. Under Brad, like the other coaches who came before him; Coco would've continued to struggle in the long run with her. Her serve was not be addressed; plus she was given these complicated game plans that did nothing for her, but take away what she already has; that is her superior athletism and problem solving capabilities. Trust me, no other player on this WTA field has those at her level. Under Tim Daly, you can see a new shift. Shanghai and Wuhan, were just dry runs in order for Tim to see where she was at and how her serve was holding up. Especially at Wuhan. Now after this WTA tournament victory, you can already see the work Tim has put in Coco come to the fore, especially with her serve. Also, he has a simple game plan for Coco. Just go out there and problem solve and your athletism. That alongside her improving forehand and serve has caused problems especially for Iga, Sabalenka and most Quinwen. Even when her serve may have failed her when she played Quinwen, her will to fight alongside her athletism and problem solving took Quinwen into deep waters. The scary part is that Coco is only 20.
