In NZ the government (aka its citizens) paid reparations to Maori. Guess who got the money? Those Maori at the top of the iwi heirachi. So they have nice homes, lots of land and fancy cars yet the majority of Maori live in poverty. Reparations are a stain on NZ history. Money should not be paid out to any group for historical wrongs by a people who never responsible.
