Glad I found this video. My family were Hugenots and settled in Staten Island. Was hoping to see their markers which I think would've been in the Episcopal Cemetery. Such great history of this country started in that part of America.

Maybe you could go to the North Shore of Staten Island and visit those cemeteries. Saint Marys on Walker Street, Saint Peters on Clove Road, one on Forest Ave down the street from that cemetery turned parking lot( what a shame). I never knew that, so thank you. Also, there is a stretch of cemeteries on Victory Boulevard, across from Silver Lake Park.

Pretty cool, thank you. I don't live that far from Umpqua area. Interesting about Juan. Umpqua Indians were real Warriors back in 1800s, now Casino owners. 😄. How times change.

That Pic of the Ferris wheel in the beginning wasn’t a pic of Staten Island !

The Conference house park was built on Native burial ground. Unfortunately there is no "ACKNOWLEDGMENT" of their existence....shame. They are part of our history. We should have at least a "STATUE" in their honor.

it is blatantly obvious , some of the early grave stones in Piscataway NJ were carved by the same hand as some of those there of the same era
