Back in 2008. when I was still a faculty student, my dream was to own BMW 3 series coupe since the car looked amazing in such a format after E92 came out. Today, to me, it still looks more organic and more cool than the current M4 coupe.
One correction: the upper hole that exits to the bonnet is NOT an intake but a hot air outake. The e92 air intake is one of the most well designed ever and efficient. Part of that is that shark nostril, which gets rid of the hot air.
That Audi driver refusing to leave the left lane is most people where I live. If they see another car in the right lane, no matter how far it is, they stay in the left lane. The few that move I really appreciate and I make sure to move to the right as soon as I pass.
If you really want to improve the shifting quality you have to go for a autosolutions short shift kit paired with the ultimate clutch pedal which gives the cluch a shorter throw allowing for faster shifts. I have this setup on my car and it really is a big improvement. The shifter also feels a lot less rubbery
fully agree. I went for AutoSolutions SSK and its night & day difference. Will try also that clutch pedal at some point. Also recommend great Evolve stage 2 ECU tuning with their test pipes which gets you more mid range power.
i honestly would give him my flashing lights in germany there is "rechtsfahrgebot" and he has to drive over, if the right lane is free and if someone wants to overtake him. i guess it was just some sleepy joe behind the wheel who notices nothing at all. sometimes u have to wake up those people without causing any danger of course.
@@sliwka621 in germany were bound to overtake on the left side if everything is free. overtaking him would only be allowed if he was blocked by slower cars in front in case of an traffic jam. Its similar on tourist days on the Nordschleife, because there the STVO has to be obeyed (german traffic laws) while flashing the lights is technically also not completely allowed, its defenitely better then overtaking on the wrong side. Using the blinkers or a little honk mostly helps to wake up people who sleep on the left lane.

Allthough i got triggered while watching it. ^^ those people are so annoying and also dangerous. Mutiple times i had to avoid a crash nearly caused by "sleepy" drivers in the past.
I got the same car, jet black 6spd M3 but mines a convertible because I live in San Diego and it rains only a few times a year. Having the top down really lets you hear the v8 :))
11:50 i think u could maybe find a rubber bushing kit to make the shifts feel a bit better and an upgraded clutch? I remember doing a similar swap in my Civic and totally transformed the experience. Later i met a guy who has a Silvia drift missle and some Honda swaps and he was actually impressed by how much better a simply bushing upgrade + short shifter install made the stock shifting experience

@@justsayin5084 the horsepower increase is minimum. S65 engine on a dyno normally shows lower engine power (compared to manufacturer spec) at an area of 400hp. Combined with the cold airintake and tune I think the hp is on 425 hp. I also removed the limiter with the stage 1 tune. The most noticeable for me is the drivability (beter throttle respons, engine is more alive).

I don't know if it's a common knowledge but there's a clutch delay valve in BMW manuals that controls the maximum speed the clutch engages. Probably that has something to do with the slower upshifts. It can be easily removed if wanted
As a German, I can just tell you: we have so many drivers that don’t use the right lane…… it’s an absolute shame. Meanwhile i think that they are struggling so hard to keep their car on the road, that they forget the right lane rule.
Did you add up how much all those mods cost? I'd consider it. (A left hand drive car is also scientifically proven safer and most countries are left hand drive ) This is the way to go, until you see traffic.
I've never been in Germany, but would something happen if you overtook the Audi driver from the right lane? in greece we do this all the time, there's people going 80 in the left lane almost everywhere and I'm forced to overtake from the right lane
In the German Highway code there is the rule that you have to move over to the right lane, as soon as you are not overtaking anybody. Unfortunately there is also a rule which says that you are only allowed to overtake on the left side on a highway. The best thing to do in such a situation without risking a fine would be to keep you distance. You can also flash him to indicate your desire to overtake, but you are not allowed to abuse it.
