కోనసీమ జిల్లా ముమ్మిడివరం నియోజకవర్గంలోని లంక గ్రామాల ప్రజలు ముంపులోనే మగ్గుతున్నారు. గ్రామాల్లోని రహదారుల్లో నడుము లోతులో వరద నీరు నిలిచిఉంది. ప్రజలు, విద్యార్థులు నాటు పడవలపైనే ప్రయాణం సాగిస్తున్నారు. తాగునీరు, ఇతర నిత్యావసరాల కోసం పడవలను ఆశ్రయించాల్సి వస్తోంది. గౌతమి గోదావరి నది పాయలో వరద ప్రవాహం తగ్గినా అక్కడి ప్రజలకు వరద ముంపు వీడలేదు. -----------
