The WEC and the vignt quatre du mans is entering a golden age and I plan on being there in 2023 and beyond! Ride that wave of manufacturer support and increased fan interest.

just a helpful point to wec for the onscreen scoring, it would be good to add pitstops remaining, eg if car 1 is 30 sec ahead of car 2, but car 2 has no more stops to make but car 1 has 1 stop to make, then this means its going to be close at the finish
New to sportscar racing and WEC. Sensational. Commentary is hard though. I never realised it would be 6 hour lecture by Professor Martin. Last time at LeMans it seemed like a 12 hour lecture but at least there were breaks in that. 6 hours straight is heavy going (how many races/lectures do I need to watch to get my degree).

GTE is similar to GT3 with slightly different Aero packages and if I remember right no abs or tc. Next year they will switch to GT3. Gte am cars need to have 1 bronze rated driver and one not higher than silver but drive the same cars as pro.

I love WEC but these Hypercars are 4 seconds a lap slower around Fuji than a Super GT car. They need to be faster than all GT cars anywhere in the world.
Why? Why do lap times matter in endurance racing? There's timeattack if you want pure speed. The point of rule changes was to make racing in WEC cheaper, more manufacturers to join and more versatile cars, for example Peugeot vs Toyota. Also, F1 is 2 seconds slower than last year but the on track battles are MUCH closer.
@@abrasive_ideas I suppose in the big scheme of things it doesn’t matter all that much as long as the racing is close but for me, I like to think that endurance race cars are not a million miles away from an F1 car in terms of performance. I get that the FIA want more affordable racing but I like to know that WEC are the fastest sportcars in the world. I’m still excited for 2023 even if the cars are at the same performance level as this year’s machinery.
😂 it's was Estre who were abusing track limit but why did Brunni get the drive through penalty 😆 Even we were watching from home screen can see the different in it, no wonder why Brunni was furious and asking a question "Why" and "Where" he did the track limit 😜. The stewardess spectator eyes must be blind I think
