Yea it would help a little bit. Didn't feel like re recording. you don't really gain much life from lidless on off hand compared to spirit. The str saved is negated by the extra bo level. But yea a doff shield choice would save like 15 to 25 dext
Im fine with the spirit on swap i was more concerned about the horrid block rates of monarch but all in all ya did a solid build... i personally think the zeal sorc is pretty bad for pvm and more for pvp... but maybe u can make a vid for the pvm bow sorc.... dream helm, dragon armor raven claw bowand let those exploding arrows clear mobs
Okay this is one of my favorite builds. I can help you improve it. I disagree with a good number of the choices. For starters, on your inventory management. I think you should put the Torch and Anni under the Cube. This allows you to carry 8 Skillers as opposed to the 7 you're currently running. Skillers are typically more important than the other charms which are filler. We can to maximize our carry amount. I agree with going Max Block. I think you using a Monarch is a mistake though. It has a massive Strength requirement and has 42% Chance to Block. We only need 3 sockets for Dream so we don't have any need for Monarch. By using different shields we can reduce our Str Req while getting a higher base block chance in 44%. I think the two choices are Hyperion at 127 Str and Tower Shield at 75 Str. I prefer Tower to stay at Base Str. By using the Tower and keeping a much lower Str we can boost our other stats for survivability. We get a 2% boost to our block chance as well which saves a few points in Dex for Max Block. The issue here is we no longer have the Str for Spirit on swap. I think this is okay and we can use a Lidless or Sigon's shield for our CtA swap. The Lidless is preferred for the FCR boost. The boost in stat points should outweigh that extra +1 skill provided by Spirit leaving us with higher Life and Mana after Battle Orders. The skill build can be different. Yours makes sense for a Vita build. Another option is the Energy Shield build. With the Energy Shield build we have to change some items around but I feel like it really boosts the survivability. I use a Twitchthroe as my chest armor. It offers all kinds of stuff that we want. IAS, FHR, 25% block chance saving more Dex points, 10 to Str and Dex again saving us stat points. I socket mine with a 15 IAS / 15 Res Jewel and I Up it once because why not. I agree with the Raven Frost for obvious reasons. For the gloves and second ring I like to use Frostburn and an SoJ. The Frostburn provide 40% Increased Maximum Mana and the SoJ provides 25%. This gives us more mana in our pool for Energy Shield and boost our mana regeneration. This leaves our Belt and Boots. I run a Nosferatu's Coil for the belt as it gives 10 IAS and 15 Str. The boots are really an open slot to fit whatever you want. Waterwalk are good for the 15 Dex and 65 Life. Lastly I use Mara's as the Amulet. It gives the +2 All and not Sorc only which we need and 30 Res. One of the things that allows us to use the Energy Shield build is the fact that we're already stacking Lightning Skillers as part of the main build. This leaves us maxing, Lightning Mastery, Telekinesis, Energy Shield, Enchant. We use the Enchant not only for the Fire damage but the Attack Rating boost. We have to get our Prereqs which is 5 in Light and Fire trees. I put one point in to Static Field and Fire Mastery. Fire Mastery will benefit from +Skills to give a little boost to damage. This allows us to max one more skill. We can max Warmth for boosted Enchant damage and more Mana Regeneration for our Energy Shield or we can max a Cold Armor spell. I recommend getting either Frozen or Shiver with one point regardless. The main weakness here is going to be we don't have FCR. You have 20 FCR from Lidless on swap if you want to swap to Teleport. This isn't ideal but I think we made a much tankier Zeal Sorc. She is quite good and can keep Energy Shield up when she gets hit with Mana Burn. Mana Burn of course still sucks for any Energy Shield build but it won't drop the shield. All of this leaves us with a Zeal Sorc that has 1560 Life at base Vita and 2894 Mana after Battle Orders. She has max resistances and max block. The Zeal Sorc's damage is coming from elemental sources and her Physical damage isn't good. I prefer to use a Holy Freeze merc over Might for this reason. Might doesn't do much for us but Holy Freeze slows down monsters helping our survivability. As for the merc build I would switch Fortitude to Treachery. Treachery is better for both merc DPS and survivability. I made mine in a Mage Plate so that my Sorc can equip it as well. She can put it on and proc Fade for herself if she wants too. With this you should notice a significant improvement in survivability without a noticeable difference in clear speed. I can go into more detail about different stuff but I've written enough here.
@@Whathappened875 You put Infinity on the Mercenary. You need it to break the Immunes. The new patch is coming soon. I don't think it changes too much for this specific build but it's still worth looking into what the changes are.
@@Chingus696 Definitely. People were looking at stacking Holy Shock and Holy Fire on a Sorc but it looks like Blizzard is nerfing Holy Fire again before it even releases. This build should still do good.
@@Chingus696 they removed the increase in damage based on distance for holy fire, shock, and freeze already because it was too op at 200%. For now anyway. They may bring it back at a lower % after they do some testing. Which honestly should have been done in the first place. You know how it is these days though. The players are the game testers. They save a ton of money that way.
It doesn't matter that this build is not as effective as the meta. This is freaking awesome. See if you can make a duel Phoenix fire druid semi viable.
Been rocking this build for a very long time. I use an upt Twitchthroe for the ias/fhr/increased block/stats with a 15/15 jewel in it. Also Dream Tower shield for lower dext req for max block
I've played around with this build before but I maxed mana shield instead of a cold shield and dumped points into telekinesis. A max energy build with an insight Merc with a damage reduction 25 amulet, Tgods, duel leach ring and raven frost made the build incredibly tanky. Not maxing fire mastery does take away damage but I found that max warmth was a better balance of damage, survival because of the effective "health" regeneration it provides with mana shield and for this build I wanted something that more or less played itself in the pits. I don't remember my inventory but I think I stacked res/life and +max damage AR charms rather than +skills.
I experimented with this build, and found the Passion part of the build was irrelevant. All you need is a fast attack speed weapon as everything is single click to hit and kill so what you want is a weapon that hits more frequently. Grief worked very well in place of the Passion as did Lightsaber due to the "ignore target defense" attribute of those weapons.
@@h4nzman118 man, just use ias calc. Sorc+pb regular attack caps at 48ias, which gives 10fpa. Sorc's zeal caps at 65ias with 6/7/7/7/11 fpa. That's it.
I tried a similar build and did a number of trials on different variant, using Silence / HOTO / Crescent Moon as main weapon, and found out this build is fastest and safest for PVM Crescent Moon as main weapon 2 SOJ, Skin of Vipermagi, mage fist Max Lightning mastery, Telekinesis, enchant, Nova instead of Warmth Enough points for 80-85% Energy shield without Memory (save the hustle for changing gear) 1 point for fire mastery, warmth, thunderstorm, static field and cold armor Make sure you reach the 86 fhr and 63% fcr breakpoints What you need to do in the game is only: 1. Teleport 2. static field + aura damage at the same time, with these 2 damage you can kill most of the monster in the whole screen in seconds 3. Nova if you want even faster monster killing 4. You rarely need to use your main 65K main attack, in rare case you only need to use this against Act boss, worse case baal need 5-10 seconds as you need 2-3 swing to kill him and not all swing can hit, but still very fast It is really fun to kill the whole screen of enemy even without a single click on the mouse
@@lonelyrain583 i would imagine so. Without expensive gear you can hardly reach half of the damage (65k!) . Funky unorthodox build requires pricey runes/ items to be at least viable.
Uff, nice so see a Video here. I wrote a Guide about a Zeal-Melee Sorc ~ 15 Years ago ;). Without Dream and stuff. 1. If you block while in a zeal-series - the hole series will no longer do any dmg. "Null-Round". 2. The Blockrate with Dream is awful bad. If would prefere Safty-Cast Amulets for better Blocking. Or just get Stormshield with Shael. Without the hilarious good Charms you won't get the Resi up. 3. Charms oder Lightdmg from the Equip is good (!). The Lightningmastery is also working twice on every light dmg source, from auras, charms or other stuff. I read in comments that some think it is not doing. IK Set is nice - mostly the people using the Belt and Gloves, since the Belt gots nice Fire/LightRes, the standard approch in like 15 years Melee-Sorc Community is more like: Laying of Hands (Ias, FireRes), Highlords (+1Skill, LightDmg, LightResi, IAS), Thundergods (Lightabsorb, raw stats), Waterwalk/Sands. Currently my Version is like: d2.maxroll.gg/d2planner/yz0106sf A lot phys dmg reduce, perfekt Resi, nice Absorb stuff and fast blocking. I use some Enchant Stuff for prebuffing enchant to ~ 45. CTA is an option, but not necessary. @@Dbrunski125 Yep, with oak sage out you've got a pretty decent life pool and good res in case es drops. I think the intention was to prevent sorcs being way too op for pvm/pvp, Blizz just never got round to fixing the problem lol.
i got max block with a lot of my chars: bone, poison, summon necros, wind druids, assassins etc. it's a life saver people! i can survive teleporting into fanaticism/might aura bosspacks in pits while being cursed, its not a joke! gives me time to regroup, come back and waste them all.
Do you want Dream on a Monarch for the extra defence, or are you investing all those points in strength just for the Spirit on the switch? Would it be better to invest more points in Vitality and just use a Lidless for the BO?
I've played around with lidless on the offhand. The life you gain from less str is pretty much negated from the extra plus skill to bo and vitality on the runeword spirit
you can hit 22k-122k if you do a full swap out of charms and gear with fire skills for prebuff and back to the light setup with light dmg sc. using lightning skillers with +1-33 lightning damage and sc of storms max 99 dmg(i dont remember) either way, prebuffing enchant really gives it some big chonkin
@@rashid.boulawan not technically. There is a bug where some math got fudged so it scales exponentially, and eventually they're stealing like 500% mana per damage or something like that. It's not just that they accidentally made it take anything, it's JUST that they need to correct some math, which makes the existence of the bug worse imo
I highly recommend to use Troll Nest instead of monarch since dream uses a 3 hole shield and since you are using Troll Nest you might change the gloves, boots and ammy.
@@kakaniania tower shield is way better in my opinion, very low strength requirement, high block chance, then just use lidless with cta, this way you gain a massive amount of vitality
I have great respect for the fact that you are still working on builds. In my group I'm the last one who still plays Diablo 2 and I notice that it is getting less and less because it's very frustrating when you run for hours in the hope of loot and at the end you just put a few low runes in the bank
Unfortunately it gets that way after a while mate. Once you get your character to max lvl and gear the way you want there isn't shit to do. They are trying to mix things up a little with these updates to skills and a couple new runewords but I think they need to come up with some new end game content. You can only do so many baal runs, cow runs, and ubers before you get bored. Only rarely ever finding things worth picking up. The only thing to do then is make new characters and do it all over again. But what do you do once you've done all that. Rush newbies? Even that gets boring after a while. What we need is an act 6. Or something along those lines. There is a lot of potential there. Like all hell breaks loose in a distant land after tyrial destroys the world stone. Make it hell difficulty only with groups of unique mobs. Idk man I'm just spitballing ideas off the top of my head here. The other thing that needs work is the system they have in place for joining games. Linking up with other players to trade items is basically not even a thing on console. Maybe add a game type called "trades". Not sure what they were thinking by removing the ability to name your game/ pick from a list of games made by other players. That was one of the best features of the original. And they can't say that it ruins the games economy. The websites that are selling items online do a fine job of that on their own. I kinda feel like blizzard really dropped the ball on this issue.
Really cool build, nothing iwould invest in over a Light sorc, Hammerdin or light sin, but if you have the wealth and getting bored, this could def. be the way to stay entertained.
That's one thing I like about games like this. There's the meta build that can always be used to farm the good stuff, then whacky nonsense that got twinked out just to have some fun. Outrageous numbers of viable builds, if you use them at the right time.
Finally the Z Melee Sorc gets some love... I like it 🤗 And there are many cheaper gear alternatives. It works without Dream. Instead you can put points into every mastery and use even medicore elemental damage charms. You can use goblins for cb on bosses. Storm Shield is a pretty solid choice. Obedience is awesome on an enchanted merc. Stone armor is pretty good, you get an extra blocker... And this sorc is supposed to be fun, not to be on meta kill speed.
the build wont work for non-dream.......Aura + Mastery work in a different way.....Lightning Mastery apply TWICE to auras(non-radial dmg)(once to the skill itself and once to the dmg on the weapon) so like 500% of 1600 is 9600....then that 500% is applied a second time 57600.....1600 is the dmg that holy shock does at lvl 30......Fire mastery and Enchant work the same way................holy fire and holy freeze dmg is too low so ppl dont do it with Hoj + Dragon.......2.4 is suppose to buff the auras dmg though.....so there a possibility that you see Aura sorc around a lot with 2.4.....EDIT: btw here why ppl dont do it with gear....Gimmershred 250-550 dmg to all elemental...500% boost to that would be a mere 3300 dmg
@@bllllood it works without Dream. No doubt. The effect on + light damage isnt quadruppled, thats true. But an inventory stacked up with light charms reall is enough to get the job done. I didnt say dream isnt best in slot. It is. But it works without dream and without infinity and makes the build way cheaper, but still very functional. Just try it. Passion, Stone Armor, any helmet, high lords, loh, tg belt, any boots, stormshield, raven, ring of choice, torch, anni, light damage charms... Merc with obedience and any combination of armor and helmet. Wont reach the killspeed of dream + infinity, ofc not, but its a very playable build nontheless.
@@randiflagg6954 getting 40 sc with 2-99 Lightning dmg is pretty brutal :S Shocking sc of Storm.....80-3960 and thats so much more difficult than double dreams to get XD...Shocking of Vita is also an option for 1-71 lightning dmg + 20 life sc but thats still also brutal to get...nonetheless.....+ 800 Life from SC > 2840 lightning dmg(perf Shocking prefixes alone X 40)
@@bllllood You are wrong. The Mastery works on every element dmg that is coming from your Equip or your inventory. So LightCharm SCs/LCs work pretty nice with Thundergods, Highlords, some Charms you have enough with a good hight Level Enchant to play that hero without a dream. I played Melee-Sorces selffound (!) through complete hell, it is not that impossible. You dont lack the dmg, try it. you lack the speed and the durability to kill the stuff, before they kill you. The shred is crap. :D
I feel like a lidless on offhand losing the +1 skill on BO would be worth the str and Dex you'd save if you went with like a Hyperion or pavise. But I've never actually done the calculations.
The extra vitality you get from less str points is offset by the extra point to battle orders and the massive vitality points spirit in a shield gives you
I made this back in the day. After much grinding ended up with over 100k single target, but more of an aurasorc setup. Lvl 54 enchant pre-buff lasts like 10 mins then put on lightning gear and a +9 memory so you can run this as an ES sorc again with like a 10 min timer... then you put on your 30/30 phase blade and dream/dream, CoH for the run ... it was my favorite character, but I hated min/maxing it for every run.
For this build I liked using Phoenix as the shield. You lose damage, but you gain much needed survivability from the redemption aura. I did a max Vitality setup. Phoenix also increases your fire damage, so it is quite good to spec into Fire Wall because you already have Warmth (and fire mastery) as a synergy for Enchant. Fire Wall is great to cast on ranged enemies as they don't move out of the fire as often. I didn't max frozen armor, so I opted for a Defiance mercenary instead. Phoenix is usually bad because it procs firestorm causing a casting delay, but Zeal is not interrupted by this. I also use Static Field for weakening enemies within melee range before using Zeal. The Rising Sun is a great amulet to use for the fire absorb against Venom Lords in Chaos Sanctuary, but Tal's Amulet is another solid option. My gear is something like Dream, Rising Sun, Passion (Phaseblade), Enigma (for MF), Phoenix, Laying of Hands (IAS), Ravenfrost, Arachnid Mesh (+skills, fcr), Rare ring with AR, Tri res boots. Another option for the armor is would be Fortitude (has FCR) or a Jeweler's Armor of the Whale (socketed with IAS and ED or Res). IK belt and boots are quite good or Cow Boots are also good for the +Dex and MF. I didn't go for max block, but you'll still need 136 Dex for the Phaseblade. The build is quite fun to play as you need to decide when to cast static field, fire wall, teleport, and when to use Zeal. Infinity on the mercenary significantly increases your elemental damage overall, so my version may not be worthwhile without an Infinity merc.
@@Dbrunski125 in general I agree, although it feels like this build doesn't really use mana so maybe it's OK? Would maybe be a way to avoid chugging rejuvs, with all that warmth buffing mana regen.
My favourite build all time. But I've been theory crafting a Dual Dream caster setup and I'd love to see you test it out. I think the new patch is going to make it an actually viable build. The increase in pulse damage up close, Nova, and Tstorm should do the trick. Basically you would rock your dual dreams then go with a Light Eschutas, Vmagi, Maras, Magefist etc. Max L mastery, Nova and whatever the new synergies are, then you would have a couple options from there... Nova + orb, Nova + Tstorm + Eshield, Nova + firewall etc etc. Anyway, would love to see a dual dream caster build video, I welcome the hero edited version haha! Make it happen Dbrunski!
my question to you. I know on icyveins website and ScLlama has said, and I'll reiterate " Just enough points to wear gear" ok, that is fine. By what I see though.. Your sorc is a 95 lvl sorc.. with modded stats( sure gear will do that) but what I want to say is this.. and I think I said this to Llama too, each level you get 5 character points to spend. in each stat. how dsoes one go, at making a 62K dmg sorc? How did you make it? what gear did you make, what upgrades did you do to your uniques? how many times did you upgrade( Tal, and Shael + a full diamond) or did you upgradeed it fully.. Lum and etc..) how many points did you put in each block..? Energy, Vitality, Dex and Str. to get that squishy 62K dmg sorc??? oh btw what items do you have on both hands??? and on each hands if you swap sides( with w)? P.S I wasn't quite sure I heard your mercenary set up was again, Sorry.
I think I can speak to all of us when I say the only problem with hero edit characters are the charms. Don’t make these impossible to find ones because they can make every build have insane survivability and really trivialize any build
Yeah but you can find very similar jewels/charms that are just a few % points off fairly easily by just farming act 5 NM or The Pit or some other easy area. Taking a barb with high or max find item into Trav works great too as they drop lots of items, and this have a higher chance of dropping runes and jewels and charms that most elite mobs. D2 is really more of a time sink than a truly difficult game imo, you can do all of these builds just fine with sub optimal choices.
For reference, I have an item find Barb around lvl 71 on ladder ATM. I went full tank with him, he does almost no dps but has max item find and find potion and around 400 mf. He was comfortably tanking 8 player Nightmare Minions of destruction at like lvl 45 in crap rares. Get 1 friend who is a dps, and tank for them. Stun enemies, reduce their dps, BO, and item find. You'll get 8 player drops in 2 player games, tons of charms and runes and such. Or if you're only single player get the synergies for war cry so it does decent damage and kill stuff solo and Item Find them I just went full item find because I use the skill literally hundreds of times per session so even an extra 4-5% is very worth it for me. Best way to find charms, jewels, normal items for runewords, etc. And I also get like 2-5 uniques an hour farming nightmare eldritch, she I, and pindleskin
Sorceress does more damage per hit because of Enchant. Multiaura paladin (holy fire + holy shock from runewords, conviction from himself, might from mercenary) has less overall damage but is a lot more durable because of holy shield, tons of life leech and decrepify from merc's unique thresher.
Hey bro, do you have a build for sorc that can deal multiple type of damage instead of a classic blizzar build? I really hate when i have to quit for reset the run because of find enemies with cold immunities
I'm thinking of trying a similar build on live soon, but dropping warmth synergy for hydras (passive dps) and swapping the dream shield for phoenix. Do you think that's viable or will it be too wieners?
I use to have similar. A few things I had different were A2NM Def Merc with Delirium since I delivered most of the necessary damage. Also Demon Limb instead of enchant investing so I could have max Telekinesis and utilize mediocre ES to balance survivability even further between the 2 orbs. I did not max block. Used CoH and (Nightsmoke? It's been awhile). Never ran out of mana bc of it and warmth and cc. I did not hit all FHR and FCR BPs that you did but she was only slightly less of a monster! Always enjoy your content
I've made this build like 8 times in the season and you can experiment with a Crescent Moon Phase Blade and do what the other earlier comment said and single click/hold on bosses. But what Cresent moon does is improve the lightning aoe and single target damage drastically. Combined with infinity it also helps the lightning immunes that are broken from conviction aura. And if RNG favors the hut, you can 1 hit 4p diablo. With the same damage without staticing. And in cows with static u can farm fast 1-3 holy shock hits with conviction on them after static to 50%. Try the weapon out.
@@Dbrunski125 yea if you need any ideas on melee sorc Zeal or attack styles. In new ladder I'll be making another one again when I get the dream runes again. This off season launch, I was running pure lightning melee/nova to help clear chaos and baal runs 20Light Mastery, 1-20Nova, 20Enchant, 20 Warmth, 1-20Fire Mastery based on if you want more air clear or fire damage on your build. Ofc with 1 frozen armor, static, telekinesis and teleport. Seems to work nice on both sides I use Cresent Moon and dream permanently with infinity merc. I had 2k nova with 58K light dmg with 4 Light gcs, 2 Fire, no Anni, but a torch too. 62k enchanted. Good luck with the planning. I used D2 Planner since it came out to tune my build I made in original D2 closet than ever. I did run however only 50% block. Conviction gave enough -defense for me to hit my targets.
That's frankly astonishing. I always wondered what a Battle-Mage build would encompass. Great job. I'm impressed. But VERY expensive, and if you say very squishy, I'm sure she has her down points. I like what you did here.
im having so much fun testing with this build, there is so many ways you can have your gear, blessed aim act 2 merc is extremely good, especially against baal, this will take you from 10k attack rating up to about 18k, you hit a lot better, i really do think this build has not been optimised yet, lots of people claiming they know the best way to build it but thats just not the case, there is a gap in the market here, get testing boys and girls :-)

it is much more beneficial to use tower shield, huge reduction in strength allows for a lot more vitality, hyperion looks so much better though, i hate the tower shield skin lol
@@HiccupOMG I really am not a fan of the bone armour skins, she has a beautiful face, seems a shame to me to cover it up 😂 I made my current one in a 15ed diadem just for resale value, but I wish I had done it in a tiara, sorceress just looks so nice in tiara imho
I always see sorc builds being listed as spec for max block, but as someone without the full inventory of gg charms I'v'e found that dex for gear and max vit works better for me. Specing for block always has me dieing to the haymakers - big hits from doll deaths, nilithak corpse explosion, might/cursed/extra strong elites. Learning to move to avoid the swarm hits and having the health pool to be able to chug down a pot after taking a massive blow (which will still happen with max block) is usually more survivable for me. I can see swapping to max block with the gg charm inventory, but without the time and resources put into that many life skillers and life/mana scs my money is on max vit as more survivability.

I would not go with Dual Dream. I would go something tankier. Armor i would go with the runeword Stone, Amu Highlords, only Dream for the Head. Gloves i would choose LoH, Belt string of ears or verdungos or thundergods, Rings Raven and bulkathos, Boots sandstorm, shield stormshield. In the weaponswitch CTA and Spirit or wizardspike and Spirit for more telespeed
Isn't most of the damage lightning from the holy shock aura? Then only one dream means you get a level 15 holy shock instead of level 30, so you're losing a ton of damage for pretty much the physical damage reduction of stormshield. Not sure it's worth it.
I play this build for about 1 month using shael't echtes and +3enchant ormus super effektive against all content in solo and most 3ppl Stoff. I love it
Dbrunski the only reason this isn't a god tier build is because Diablo content is capped at a certain level, so builds that do less damage over time tend to be faster. If there was harder end game to go through, bosses with a lot more HP, etc, this build would definitely be worth it's buck!
Question: why do people including Dbrunski keep saying that this or that build is slower than a hammerdin? I mean in this build that he has there everything dies within 2 secs in the whole screen. I can see other builds that could do faster but why hammerdin? Some disclaimers: yes I have enigma, my hammer damage is 13k fully buffed. And yes I understand the trajectory of hammers in general. It’s just that u constantly find mobs that are either standing still or move too irregularly. Often times I find myself have to teleport to their face(with them being at the top left of my shoulder ideally) to throw the hammers and very often that takes a while. At least more than 2-3secs for sure. Turns out that usually it’s only the initial inner circle of the hammer that does the damage, the outer circle hammers don’t contribute as much. So what’m I missing here folks? I just don’t understand why people acting like it’s a super duper fast clear build. I mean to me it’s fairly fast, ok fast I guess. But if u can have stuff in the entire screen die within 2 secs I think that’s definitely faster
My ideal gear for dual dream sorceress is quite different. I know you want passion for uninterrupted attacks. But I think there is a better potential with crescent moon for 35% more lighting damage. Or grief along with life steal to be extra tanky and further diversify the damage types. Both of those options ignore defense on trash mobs. So to not have your attacks interrupted you stack %DR, IAS and lifesteal especially if grief. You can also run this as werebear. Also you shouldn't be considering casting frames at all. You can put Wiz Spike and Spirit on swap if you want -for teleporting. But you're basic attacking things or using zeal, your FCR doesn't matter. Lowest priority for melee. Anyway I never do this without, LoH, Treachery and string of ears.

Yea it would help a little bit. Didn't feel like re recording. you don't really gain much life from lidless on off hand compared to spirit. The str saved is negated by the extra bo level. But yea a doff shield choice would save like 15 to 25 dext
Im fine with the spirit on swap i was more concerned about the horrid block rates of monarch but all in all ya did a solid build... i personally think the zeal sorc is pretty bad for pvm and more for pvp... but maybe u can make a vid for the pvm bow sorc.... dream helm, dragon armor raven claw bowand let those exploding arrows clear mobs
I agree I could have optimized the shield more now that I think about it. Isn't a hyperion like 42 % ctb? I think monarch is 40 %?
Okay this is one of my favorite builds. I can help you improve it. I disagree with a good number of the choices.
For starters, on your inventory management. I think you should put the Torch and Anni under the Cube. This allows you to carry 8 Skillers as opposed to the 7 you're currently running. Skillers are typically more important than the other charms which are filler. We can to maximize our carry amount.
I agree with going Max Block. I think you using a Monarch is a mistake though. It has a massive Strength requirement and has 42% Chance to Block. We only need 3 sockets for Dream so we don't have any need for Monarch. By using different shields we can reduce our Str Req while getting a higher base block chance in 44%. I think the two choices are Hyperion at 127 Str and Tower Shield at 75 Str. I prefer Tower to stay at Base Str.
By using the Tower and keeping a much lower Str we can boost our other stats for survivability. We get a 2% boost to our block chance as well which saves a few points in Dex for Max Block. The issue here is we no longer have the Str for Spirit on swap. I think this is okay and we can use a Lidless or Sigon's shield for our CtA swap. The Lidless is preferred for the FCR boost. The boost in stat points should outweigh that extra +1 skill provided by Spirit leaving us with higher Life and Mana after Battle Orders.
The skill build can be different. Yours makes sense for a Vita build. Another option is the Energy Shield build. With the Energy Shield build we have to change some items around but I feel like it really boosts the survivability. I use a Twitchthroe as my chest armor. It offers all kinds of stuff that we want. IAS, FHR, 25% block chance saving more Dex points, 10 to Str and Dex again saving us stat points. I socket mine with a 15 IAS / 15 Res Jewel and I Up it once because why not.
I agree with the Raven Frost for obvious reasons. For the gloves and second ring I like to use Frostburn and an SoJ. The Frostburn provide 40% Increased Maximum Mana and the SoJ provides 25%. This gives us more mana in our pool for Energy Shield and boost our mana regeneration. This leaves our Belt and Boots. I run a Nosferatu's Coil for the belt as it gives 10 IAS and 15 Str. The boots are really an open slot to fit whatever you want. Waterwalk are good for the 15 Dex and 65 Life. Lastly I use Mara's as the Amulet. It gives the +2 All and not Sorc only which we need and 30 Res.
One of the things that allows us to use the Energy Shield build is the fact that we're already stacking Lightning Skillers as part of the main build. This leaves us maxing, Lightning Mastery, Telekinesis, Energy Shield, Enchant. We use the Enchant not only for the Fire damage but the Attack Rating boost. We have to get our Prereqs which is 5 in Light and Fire trees. I put one point in to Static Field and Fire Mastery. Fire Mastery will benefit from +Skills to give a little boost to damage. This allows us to max one more skill. We can max Warmth for boosted Enchant damage and more Mana Regeneration for our Energy Shield or we can max a Cold Armor spell. I recommend getting either Frozen or Shiver with one point regardless.
The main weakness here is going to be we don't have FCR. You have 20 FCR from Lidless on swap if you want to swap to Teleport. This isn't ideal but I think we made a much tankier Zeal Sorc. She is quite good and can keep Energy Shield up when she gets hit with Mana Burn. Mana Burn of course still sucks for any Energy Shield build but it won't drop the shield.
All of this leaves us with a Zeal Sorc that has 1560 Life at base Vita and 2894 Mana after Battle Orders. She has max resistances and max block.
The Zeal Sorc's damage is coming from elemental sources and her Physical damage isn't good. I prefer to use a Holy Freeze merc over Might for this reason. Might doesn't do much for us but Holy Freeze slows down monsters helping our survivability. As for the merc build I would switch Fortitude to Treachery. Treachery is better for both merc DPS and survivability. I made mine in a Mage Plate so that my Sorc can equip it as well. She can put it on and proc Fade for herself if she wants too.
With this you should notice a significant improvement in survivability without a noticeable difference in clear speed. I can go into more detail about different stuff but I've written enough here.

The new patch is coming soon. I don't think it changes too much for this specific build but it's still worth looking into what the changes are.

@@Chingus696 Definitely. People were looking at stacking Holy Shock and Holy Fire on a Sorc but it looks like Blizzard is nerfing Holy Fire again before it even releases.
This build should still do good.
@@Chingus696 they removed the increase in damage based on distance for holy fire, shock, and freeze already because it was too op at 200%. For now anyway. They may bring it back at a lower % after they do some testing. Which honestly should have been done in the first place. You know how it is these days though. The players are the game testers. They save a ton of money that way.
It doesn't matter that this build is not as effective as the meta. This is freaking awesome. See if you can make a duel Phoenix fire druid semi viable.

Been rocking this build for a very long time. I use an upt Twitchthroe for the ias/fhr/increased block/stats with a 15/15 jewel in it. Also Dream Tower shield for lower dext req for max block
mine is similar but with guardian angel, tri res 90%, 15 ias jewel, think i only invest about 80 strength, its super fun to play
I've played around with this build before but I maxed mana shield instead of a cold shield and dumped points into telekinesis. A max energy build with an insight Merc with a damage reduction 25 amulet, Tgods, duel leach ring and raven frost made the build incredibly tanky. Not maxing fire mastery does take away damage but I found that max warmth was a better balance of damage, survival because of the effective "health" regeneration it provides with mana shield and for this build I wanted something that more or less played itself in the pits. I don't remember my inventory but I think I stacked res/life and +max damage AR charms rather than +skills.

I experimented with this build, and found the Passion part of the build was irrelevant. All you need is a fast attack speed weapon as everything is single click to hit and kill so what you want is a weapon that hits more frequently. Grief worked very well in place of the Passion as did Lightsaber due to the "ignore target defense" attribute of those weapons.
Tried it with 6 sheal in a pb/ds/cs? Does it help by any breakpoints? Also other 1-hand weapons with more range maybe?
@@h4nzman118 man, just use ias calc. Sorc+pb regular attack caps at 48ias, which gives 10fpa. Sorc's zeal caps at 65ias with 6/7/7/7/11 fpa. That's it.
Lightsabre is pretty cool since you benefit from the lightning absorb to mitigate some of the squishiness.

I tried a similar build and did a number of trials on different variant, using Silence / HOTO / Crescent Moon as main weapon, and found out this build is fastest and safest for PVM
Crescent Moon as main weapon
2 SOJ, Skin of Vipermagi, mage fist
Max Lightning mastery, Telekinesis, enchant, Nova instead of Warmth
Enough points for 80-85% Energy shield without Memory (save the hustle for changing gear)
1 point for fire mastery, warmth, thunderstorm, static field and cold armor
Make sure you reach the 86 fhr and 63% fcr breakpoints
What you need to do in the game is only:
1. Teleport
2. static field + aura damage at the same time, with these 2 damage you can kill most of the monster in the whole screen in seconds
3. Nova if you want even faster monster killing
4. You rarely need to use your main 65K main attack, in rare case you only need to use this against Act boss, worse case baal need 5-10 seconds as you need 2-3 swing to kill him and not all swing can hit, but still very fast
It is really fun to kill the whole screen of enemy even without a single click on the mouse
Does this build use dream helm/shield also?

Uff, nice so see a Video here. I wrote a Guide about a Zeal-Melee Sorc ~ 15 Years ago ;). Without Dream and stuff.
1. If you block while in a zeal-series - the hole series will no longer do any dmg. "Null-Round".
2. The Blockrate with Dream is awful bad. If would prefere Safty-Cast Amulets for better Blocking. Or just get Stormshield with Shael. Without the hilarious good Charms you won't get the Resi up.
3. Charms oder Lightdmg from the Equip is good (!). The Lightningmastery is also working twice on every light dmg source, from auras, charms or other stuff. I read in comments that some think it is not doing.
IK Set is nice - mostly the people using the Belt and Gloves, since the Belt gots nice Fire/LightRes, the standard approch in like 15 years Melee-Sorc Community is more like: Laying of Hands (Ias, FireRes), Highlords (+1Skill, LightDmg, LightResi, IAS), Thundergods (Lightabsorb, raw stats), Waterwalk/Sands. Currently my Version is like: d2.maxroll.gg/d2planner/yz0106sf
A lot phys dmg reduce, perfekt Resi, nice Absorb stuff and fast blocking. I use some Enchant Stuff for prebuffing enchant to ~ 45. CTA is an option, but not necessary.

@@Dbrunski125 Yep, with oak sage out you've got a pretty decent life pool and good res in case es drops. I think the intention was to prevent sorcs being way too op for pvm/pvp, Blizz just never got round to fixing the problem lol.
i got max block with a lot of my chars: bone, poison, summon necros, wind druids, assassins etc.
it's a life saver people! i can survive teleporting into fanaticism/might aura bosspacks in pits while being cursed, its not a joke! gives me time to regroup, come back and waste them all.
Do you want Dream on a Monarch for the extra defence, or are you investing all those points in strength just for the Spirit on the switch?
Would it be better to invest more points in Vitality and just use a Lidless for the BO?
I've played around with lidless on the offhand. The life you gain from less str is pretty much negated from the extra plus skill to bo and vitality on the runeword spirit

you can hit 22k-122k if you do a full swap out of charms and gear with fire skills for prebuff and back to the light setup with light dmg sc. using lightning skillers with +1-33 lightning damage and sc of storms max 99 dmg(i dont remember)
either way, prebuffing enchant really gives it some big chonkin

@@rashid.boulawan not technically. There is a bug where some math got fudged so it scales exponentially, and eventually they're stealing like 500% mana per damage or something like that. It's not just that they accidentally made it take anything, it's JUST that they need to correct some math, which makes the existence of the bug worse imo

I highly recommend to use Troll Nest instead of monarch since dream uses a 3 hole shield and since you are using Troll Nest you might change the gloves, boots and ammy.
He also needs spirit in off hand for bo,so monarch is the way to go
@@kakaniania tower shield is way better in my opinion, very low strength requirement, high block chance, then just use lidless with cta, this way you gain a massive amount of vitality
I have great respect for the fact that you are still working on builds. In my group I'm the last one who still plays Diablo 2 and I notice that it is getting less and less because it's very frustrating when you run for hours in the hope of loot and at the end you just put a few low runes in the bank
Try Project Diablo 2. Imo it is a far better game.

Unfortunately it gets that way after a while mate. Once you get your character to max lvl and gear the way you want there isn't shit to do. They are trying to mix things up a little with these updates to skills and a couple new runewords but I think they need to come up with some new end game content. You can only do so many baal runs, cow runs, and ubers before you get bored. Only rarely ever finding things worth picking up. The only thing to do then is make new characters and do it all over again. But what do you do once you've done all that. Rush newbies? Even that gets boring after a while. What we need is an act 6. Or something along those lines. There is a lot of potential there. Like all hell breaks loose in a distant land after tyrial destroys the world stone. Make it hell difficulty only with groups of unique mobs. Idk man I'm just spitballing ideas off the top of my head here.
The other thing that needs work is the system they have in place for joining games. Linking up with other players to trade items is basically not even a thing on console. Maybe add a game type called "trades". Not sure what they were thinking by removing the ability to name your game/ pick from a list of games made by other players. That was one of the best features of the original. And they can't say that it ruins the games economy. The websites that are selling items online do a fine job of that on their own. I kinda feel like blizzard really dropped the ball on this issue.

Really cool build, nothing iwould invest in over a Light sorc, Hammerdin or light sin, but if you have the wealth and getting bored, this could def. be the way to stay entertained.
That's one thing I like about games like this. There's the meta build that can always be used to farm the good stuff, then whacky nonsense that got twinked out just to have some fun.
Outrageous numbers of viable builds, if you use them at the right time.
Finally the Z Melee Sorc gets some love... I like it 🤗
And there are many cheaper gear alternatives. It works without Dream. Instead you can put points into every mastery and use even medicore elemental damage charms. You can use goblins for cb on bosses. Storm Shield is a pretty solid choice. Obedience is awesome on an enchanted merc. Stone armor is pretty good, you get an extra blocker...
And this sorc is supposed to be fun, not to be on meta kill speed.
the build wont work for non-dream.......Aura + Mastery work in a different way.....Lightning Mastery apply TWICE to auras(non-radial dmg)(once to the skill itself and once to the dmg on the weapon) so like 500% of 1600 is 9600....then that 500% is applied a second time 57600.....1600 is the dmg that holy shock does at lvl 30......Fire mastery and Enchant work the same way................holy fire and holy freeze dmg is too low so ppl dont do it with Hoj + Dragon.......2.4 is suppose to buff the auras dmg though.....so there a possibility that you see Aura sorc around a lot with 2.4.....EDIT: btw here why ppl dont do it with gear....Gimmershred 250-550 dmg to all elemental...500% boost to that would be a mere 3300 dmg
@@bllllood it works without Dream. No doubt. The effect on + light damage isnt quadruppled, thats true. But an inventory stacked up with light charms reall is enough to get the job done. I didnt say dream isnt best in slot. It is. But it works without dream and without infinity and makes the build way cheaper, but still very functional.
Just try it. Passion, Stone Armor, any helmet, high lords, loh, tg belt, any boots, stormshield, raven, ring of choice, torch, anni, light damage charms... Merc with obedience and any combination of armor and helmet.
Wont reach the killspeed of dream + infinity, ofc not, but its a very playable build nontheless.
@@randiflagg6954 getting 40 sc with 2-99 Lightning dmg is pretty brutal :S Shocking sc of Storm.....80-3960 and thats so much more difficult than double dreams to get XD...Shocking of Vita is also an option for 1-71 lightning dmg + 20 life sc but thats still also brutal to get...nonetheless.....+ 800 Life from SC > 2840 lightning dmg(perf Shocking prefixes alone X 40)

@@bllllood You are wrong. The Mastery works on every element dmg that is coming from your Equip or your inventory. So LightCharm SCs/LCs work pretty nice with Thundergods, Highlords, some Charms you have enough with a good hight Level Enchant to play that hero without a dream. I played Melee-Sorces selffound (!) through complete hell, it is not that impossible.
You dont lack the dmg, try it. you lack the speed and the durability to kill the stuff, before they kill you. The shred is crap. :D
Why monarch? There has to be better shields with higher block rate and lower str than this? Like a grim shield or a Luna both are better right?
Can the grim and luna roll 3 slots? I forget. I assumed he wanted a monarch because he needs the sockets.

I feel like a lidless on offhand losing the +1 skill on BO would be worth the str and Dex you'd save if you went with like a Hyperion or pavise. But I've never actually done the calculations.
The extra vitality you get from less str points is offset by the extra point to battle orders and the massive vitality points spirit in a shield gives you

Have you tried maximizing damage with lightning damage small charms
I made this back in the day. After much grinding ended up with over 100k single target, but more of an aurasorc setup. Lvl 54 enchant pre-buff lasts like 10 mins then put on lightning gear and a +9 memory so you can run this as an ES sorc again with like a 10 min timer... then you put on your 30/30 phase blade and dream/dream, CoH for the run ... it was my favorite character, but I hated min/maxing it for every run.
Do ubres with that sorc....is it even possible?
Since u max warmth what about going mana shield with massive mana regen.
That would require a lot of points in Telekinesis, otherwise Mana Shield is extremely inefficient.
For this build I liked using Phoenix as the shield. You lose damage, but you gain much needed survivability from the redemption aura. I did a max Vitality setup. Phoenix also increases your fire damage, so it is quite good to spec into Fire Wall because you already have Warmth (and fire mastery) as a synergy for Enchant. Fire Wall is great to cast on ranged enemies as they don't move out of the fire as often. I didn't max frozen armor, so I opted for a Defiance mercenary instead. Phoenix is usually bad because it procs firestorm causing a casting delay, but Zeal is not interrupted by this. I also use Static Field for weakening enemies within melee range before using Zeal. The Rising Sun is a great amulet to use for the fire absorb against Venom Lords in Chaos Sanctuary, but Tal's Amulet is another solid option. My gear is something like Dream, Rising Sun, Passion (Phaseblade), Enigma (for MF), Phoenix, Laying of Hands (IAS), Ravenfrost, Arachnid Mesh (+skills, fcr), Rare ring with AR, Tri res boots. Another option for the armor is would be Fortitude (has FCR) or a Jeweler's Armor of the Whale (socketed with IAS and ED or Res). IK belt and boots are quite good or Cow Boots are also good for the +Dex and MF. I didn't go for max block, but you'll still need 136 Dex for the Phaseblade. The build is quite fun to play as you need to decide when to cast static field, fire wall, teleport, and when to use Zeal. Infinity on the mercenary significantly increases your elemental damage overall, so my version may not be worthwhile without an Infinity merc.

Where can I get hero editor (safely)? I want to test a build before going all in online.
Max out telekinesis and mana. It make is a stronger build. With warmth, your mana takes most of the damage.
Also, if you run plus fire skill GC for pre buff, then change to lightening it is great

@@Dbrunski125 in general I agree, although it feels like this build doesn't really use mana so maybe it's OK? Would maybe be a way to avoid chugging rejuvs, with all that warmth buffing mana regen.
I did mine in a diadem. Sexy sorcs don’t need no dirty skull.
My favourite build all time. But I've been theory crafting a Dual Dream caster setup and I'd love to see you test it out. I think the new patch is going to make it an actually viable build. The increase in pulse damage up close, Nova, and Tstorm should do the trick. Basically you would rock your dual dreams then go with a Light Eschutas, Vmagi, Maras, Magefist etc. Max L mastery, Nova and whatever the new synergies are, then you would have a couple options from there... Nova + orb, Nova + Tstorm + Eshield, Nova + firewall etc etc. Anyway, would love to see a dual dream caster build video, I welcome the hero edited version haha! Make it happen Dbrunski!
Is holy freeze merc a safer option than might merc?
my question to you. I know on icyveins website and ScLlama has said, and I'll reiterate " Just enough points to wear gear" ok, that is fine. By what I see though.. Your sorc is a 95 lvl sorc.. with modded stats( sure gear will do that) but what I want to say is this.. and I think I said this to Llama too, each level you get 5 character points to spend. in each stat. how dsoes one go, at making a 62K dmg sorc? How did you make it? what gear did you make, what upgrades did you do to your uniques? how many times did you upgrade( Tal, and Shael + a full diamond) or did you upgradeed it fully.. Lum and etc..) how many points did you put in each block..? Energy, Vitality, Dex and Str. to get that squishy 62K dmg sorc??? oh btw what items do you have on both hands??? and on each hands if you swap sides( with w)? P.S I wasn't quite sure I heard your mercenary set up was again, Sorry.
I think I can speak to all of us when I say the only problem with hero edit characters are the charms. Don’t make these impossible to find ones because they can make every build have insane survivability and really trivialize any build
In my case also jewels :P, I have plenty of 15 ias but no 15/40's or 15/15's (online)
Yeah but you can find very similar jewels/charms that are just a few % points off fairly easily by just farming act 5 NM or The Pit or some other easy area. Taking a barb with high or max find item into Trav works great too as they drop lots of items, and this have a higher chance of dropping runes and jewels and charms that most elite mobs.
D2 is really more of a time sink than a truly difficult game imo, you can do all of these builds just fine with sub optimal choices.
For reference, I have an item find Barb around lvl 71 on ladder ATM. I went full tank with him, he does almost no dps but has max item find and find potion and around 400 mf. He was comfortably tanking 8 player Nightmare Minions of destruction at like lvl 45 in crap rares. Get 1 friend who is a dps, and tank for them. Stun enemies, reduce their dps, BO, and item find. You'll get 8 player drops in 2 player games, tons of charms and runes and such.
Or if you're only single player get the synergies for war cry so it does decent damage and kill stuff solo and Item Find them I just went full item find because I use the skill literally hundreds of times per session so even an extra 4-5% is very worth it for me. Best way to find charms, jewels, normal items for runewords, etc. And I also get like 2-5 uniques an hour farming nightmare eldritch, she I, and pindleskin
@DBrunski What deal more Dmg, this Sorc Aura with + Dmg from Mastery or a Paladin with skilled synergie and better conv aura?
Sorceress does more damage per hit because of Enchant. Multiaura paladin (holy fire + holy shock from runewords, conviction from himself, might from mercenary) has less overall damage but is a lot more durable because of holy shield, tons of life leech and decrepify from merc's unique thresher.
Curious about how you feel about this now that sundered charms are a thing, what changes would you make.

Hey bro, do you have a build for sorc that can deal multiple type of damage instead of a classic blizzar build? I really hate when i have to quit for reset the run because of find enemies with cold immunities
I'm thinking of trying a similar build on live soon, but dropping warmth synergy for hydras (passive dps) and swapping the dream shield for phoenix. Do you think that's viable or will it be too wieners?
Not sure about Phoenix but hydras aren't good in any setup I think
I use to have similar. A few things I had different were A2NM Def Merc with Delirium since I delivered most of the necessary damage. Also Demon Limb instead of enchant investing so I could have max Telekinesis and utilize mediocre ES to balance survivability even further between the 2 orbs. I did not max block. Used CoH and (Nightsmoke? It's been awhile). Never ran out of mana bc of it and warmth and cc. I did not hit all FHR and FCR BPs that you did but she was only slightly less of a monster! Always enjoy your content

I hit 56k as bear sorc in LOD. That was my fav toon, it 1 shotted everything it was bad ass.
why not a lower resist wand as secondary?
I've made this build like 8 times in the season and you can experiment with a Crescent Moon Phase Blade and do what the other earlier comment said and single click/hold on bosses. But what Cresent moon does is improve the lightning aoe and single target damage drastically. Combined with infinity it also helps the lightning immunes that are broken from conviction aura. And if RNG favors the hut, you can 1 hit 4p diablo. With the same damage without staticing. And in cows with static u can farm fast 1-3 holy shock hits with conviction on them after static to 50%. Try the weapon out.

@@Dbrunski125 yea if you need any ideas on melee sorc Zeal or attack styles. In new ladder I'll be making another one again when I get the dream runes again. This off season launch, I was running pure lightning melee/nova to help clear chaos and baal runs 20Light Mastery, 1-20Nova, 20Enchant, 20 Warmth, 1-20Fire Mastery based on if you want more air clear or fire damage on your build. Ofc with 1 frozen armor, static, telekinesis and teleport. Seems to work nice on both sides I use Cresent Moon and dream permanently with infinity merc. I had 2k nova with 58K light dmg with 4 Light gcs, 2 Fire, no Anni, but a torch too. 62k enchanted. Good luck with the planning. I used D2 Planner since it came out to tune my build I made in original D2 closet than ever. I did run however only 50% block. Conviction gave enough -defense for me to hit my targets.

What's the point of using a Monarch for a 3 socket runeword? Why not to take a natural 3 socket shield and save some pts in strength (156 is a lot).
That's frankly astonishing. I always wondered what a Battle-Mage build would encompass. Great job. I'm impressed. But VERY expensive, and if you say very squishy, I'm sure she has her down points. I like what you did here.
When you said hero edited, you mean maximize the gear, not actually create items that cannot exist in the game right?
im having so much fun testing with this build, there is so many ways you can have your gear, blessed aim act 2 merc is extremely good, especially against baal, this will take you from 10k attack rating up to about 18k, you hit a lot better, i really do think this build has not been optimised yet, lots of people claiming they know the best way to build it but thats just not the case, there is a gap in the market here, get testing boys and girls :-)

dream in hyperion shield for the highest block chance, also can use fire skillers to prebuff enchant :)
it is much more beneficial to use tower shield, huge reduction in strength allows for a lot more vitality, hyperion looks so much better though, i hate the tower shield skin lol

I always see sorc builds being listed as spec for max block, but as someone without the full inventory of gg charms I'v'e found that dex for gear and max vit works better for me. Specing for block always has me dieing to the haymakers - big hits from doll deaths, nilithak corpse explosion, might/cursed/extra strong elites. Learning to move to avoid the swarm hits and having the health pool to be able to chug down a pot after taking a massive blow (which will still happen with max block) is usually more survivable for me. I can see swapping to max block with the gg charm inventory, but without the time and resources put into that many life skillers and life/mana scs my money is on max vit as more survivability.

I would not go with Dual Dream. I would go something tankier. Armor i would go with the runeword Stone, Amu Highlords, only Dream for the Head. Gloves i would choose LoH, Belt string of ears or verdungos or thundergods, Rings Raven and bulkathos, Boots sandstorm, shield stormshield. In the weaponswitch CTA and Spirit or wizardspike and Spirit for more telespeed
Try it and watch how little damage she does without dual dreams
Isn't most of the damage lightning from the holy shock aura? Then only one dream means you get a level 15 holy shock instead of level 30, so you're losing a ton of damage for pretty much the physical damage reduction of stormshield. Not sure it's worth it.
@@mrkiky Just add some Lightning Dmg Charms in you Inventory the Lightning Mastery adds the % dmg to the Charms. And trust me one Dream is enough.
I play this build for about 1 month using shael't echtes and +3enchant ormus super effektive against all content in solo and most 3ppl Stoff. I love it
Why bother with enchant and not just use the dual dream and then energy shield / telekinesis / warmth?

Well, no. Dual Dream only works well on Sorc and Pala because of the synergies they provide to the Holy Shock Aura =)

Dbrunski the only reason this isn't a god tier build is because Diablo content is capped at a certain level, so builds that do less damage over time tend to be faster.
If there was harder end game to go through, bosses with a lot more HP, etc, this build would definitely be worth it's buck!

Enchant is insane
Question: why do people including Dbrunski keep saying that this or that build is slower than a hammerdin? I mean in this build that he has there everything dies within 2 secs in the whole screen. I can see other builds that could do faster but why hammerdin?
Some disclaimers: yes I have enigma, my hammer damage is 13k fully buffed. And yes I understand the trajectory of hammers in general. It’s just that u constantly find mobs that are either standing still or move too irregularly. Often times I find myself have to teleport to their face(with them being at the top left of my shoulder ideally) to throw the hammers and very often that takes a while. At least more than 2-3secs for sure. Turns out that usually it’s only the initial inner circle of the hammer that does the damage, the outer circle hammers don’t contribute as much. So what’m I missing here folks? I just don’t understand why people acting like it’s a super duper fast clear build. I mean to me it’s fairly fast, ok fast I guess. But if u can have stuff in the entire screen die within 2 secs I think that’s definitely faster

My ideal gear for dual dream sorceress is quite different. I know you want passion for uninterrupted attacks. But I think there is a better potential with crescent moon for 35% more lighting damage. Or grief along with life steal to be extra tanky and further diversify the damage types. Both of those options ignore defense on trash mobs. So to not have your attacks interrupted you stack %DR, IAS and lifesteal especially if grief. You can also run this as werebear. Also you shouldn't be considering casting frames at all. You can put Wiz Spike and Spirit on swap if you want -for teleporting. But you're basic attacking things or using zeal, your FCR doesn't matter. Lowest priority for melee.
Anyway I never do this without, LoH, Treachery and string of ears.
this is the ultimate flex build to show off that you are rich af. Would definitely go for this one if I'd still play :D
Try a double dream. Nova or c.L. with t.s. an.statict. Id like to see of you can basicly make her like the old bug auradin
