Definitely a great slow burning blues track by the mighty Zeppelin. Check out Nobody’s Fault But Mine by them from this same album. Jimmy Page wanted to have a band of four equals. He definitely ended up with four masters of their craft.

Will add it to the list and react to it soon. Thank you for the recommendation. 🙂 🤘🏾 Totally agree. Masters and legends indeed.

You can feel the pathos from JP's guitar matching the emotion from RP's vocals. The angst, the anguish is palpable.
I can never just listen to this once, I have to play it over and over and over.

That's a new perspective. I listened to it as a 2 bit guitar player. I will listen to it again. Thank you. 🙂🤘🏾

@@TheRealBabaRaakha for context: RP wrote this while recovering from a serious car accident where he, his wife and children all suffered numerous broken bones etc. RP was in a wheelchair and, on top of being very concerned about his wife's fractured skull, their little son and daughter's fractured arm and leg as well as his own badly fractured leg and ankle, he was also being pressured by the band's accountants to leave them all in England to preserve his tax exile status. He gave in and left but clearly was not happy to do so. Sorry for the long reply but it helps to understand his mindset for this song, Achilles Last Stand and others off the Presence album.

Please. Thank you for the explanation. Never in a million years would I have guessed from the lyrics of the song that he was facing such dire circumstances. I get the anguish now. Thank you for the context. ❤️🤘🏾

I'll never understand how this album didn't fair as well as the others. From a musician's standpoint, it's a masterpiece

Yo- Baba Raakha- now I feel bad... I don't feel insulted whatsoever. If I call you Baba Rocker, do you feel insulted? or elevated by the compliment? Speaking of off- hand insults... I believe "sick of excrement" to be a female of the species (you said "he"). As to a disagreement... this is not just Blues, it is Blues Rock- genre that takes in Zep and Jimi Hendrix, Joe Cocker and Janis Joplin, Steve Mariott and Beth Hart, SRV and Stevie Winwood. Peace, love and bellbottoms from Canada. (coda- your last comment... Ramble On IS a great song: do the live on Celebration Day (London, O2, 2007) version, you'll see them grown up and STILL the best entertainers on the planet (with Jason Bonham on drums for his late father, R.i.P. Bonzo.)).

Please don't feel bad, to be entirely honest with you, as I was before, Baba Rocker is a compliment. And when the opportunity presents itself, I will work it as part of the monologue and be sure to credit the 27th Angel. 🙂🤘🏾
The sick of excrement was referring to another subscriber who has been nothing but polite but the username is sicotshit. I didn't want to use merde on the video. And there's no way to tell gender by mere usernames on here. You, or that person weren't the target of the rants of yours truly. 🙂
And it's been a while since I got a new recommendation. So, thank you. I will listen to it soon. I personally felt Blues Rock usually uses more gain on their distortion. Now that I think about it, I don't think I have heard Page using a lot of distortion. 🤔
PS - Baba Raakha is a character that I developed a long time before I posted my first reaction video this year. 🤘🏾❤️

*Page using a lot of distortion ever.

@@TheRealBabaRaakha Just 'funning' with you, man... not a single word you've uttered do I find offensive. Yes, I knew you were referring to 'sick o' sh--'... she's always worth reading. The Queen of ALL Zep folk is Henrietta Skolnick: if she says something, you can take it to the bank (in 5 years she has made 1 minor dating error, and 1 single verb/ syntax error... she's brilliant). PS not kidding about the Ramble On/ O2, 2007 either. Peace, love and hockey pucks.

What am I missing here? Is that person well known? I will Google Henrietta but how could you be sure that this account belongs to her? I am intrigued and confused.

If I may, I admit not knowing what bell bottoms are, but I would prefer marmalade and maple syrup for breakfast. 😄🙂🤘🏾☘️
      Edit-
PS - I have never skated, let alone on ice, my only use there would be to throw some haymakers, after I start working out again.

I consider this a complete masterpiece, a total work of art that if it were a painting, there would be a place for it in the Louvre Museum in Paris. Also I don’t know if it’s really true or not but I have heard people say that it is supposed to be a “sequel” if you will to SINCE I’VE BEEN LOVING YOU.

Agreed whole heartedly. Ahh, I have yet to listen to the prequel then. Thank you for the heads up. 🙂🤘🏾
