Hearing Enjou talk, i actually noticed that both characters, enemies and mobs of the pyro element are the most charismatic and expressive in the game (even Diluc in the manga). Can't wait to see how the Pyro Archon and Natlan will be.
With this logic in mind , dain said "if the god of war (natlan archon) shares this secret with the traveller . It is because she has her reasons. That must mean she ll tell us about what happened of khaneriah and the archon war 500yrs ago.

Lumine’s voice actor is amazing. Her voice sounds affectionate with a sliver of hope, but you can feel the sadness and sorrow while she speaks.

this warms my heart so much. knowing how Lumine has been keeping tabs on Aether all this time just makes me feel a lot of emotions considering how much we know of Aether's feelings about everything so far... it's gonna be a long adventure for all of us and yet, why does it hurt a bit
I mean after all twins have a deeper connection than ordinary siblings, they can kind of read each others minds but not quite, i have a twin and i can always tell when there's something off about him even though he doesn't show it, he's good at hiding it same as Aether/Lumine (whatever traveler you have). Hopefully these two twins get the happy ending they deserve and hoping Hoyo doesn't kill one off :/ for the sake of the story

They are only both canon in-game. But hoyo chose Aether as their mc and Lumine as their abyss princess for their own narrative)

I love how Lumine sounds like she truly misses her brother. I wonder if she chooses to call Aether “traveler” instead because the word “brother” stings 💔🥺
It is possible the other leaders of the abyss have not put the pieces together yet who the traveler is so she refers to Aether in the report that way to keeping his identity a secret longer and to keep them from questioning her loyalty due to how much the Traveler has ruined their plans.

I like how Lumine is seen in Liyue and Sumeru! It’s shows how she’s has been watching and observing!
Lumine wanted Aether to travel around, make friends, see the world for what it is. She wanted him to take in the sights and sounds, to see its people and their troubles and their joys. She wanted him to understand why she is doing what she's doing, so that when he's ready, they can do this together, without reservation or doubt.
Damn..... In other words Aether might have to choose to fight against the archons and celestia in the end along side Lumine?

@@zoro5483 I'm not that sure. Lumine has red flags all over her, but the one with the Death Flags is Dainsleif.
Also, it's not like the final enemy on volume 17 of Date a Live, ever since I read that book I knew the final enemy wouldn't be redeemed even though the book tries it's best to make it seem like it will.
Here they don't even try to redeem Lumine, but she also never actually succeeds in anything. You can hear in Dainsleif's voice the rage he has, but it's not against Lumine, it's against her actions. He still cares about Lumine deep inside and tries to foil her plans again and again to save her. Doesn't this ring the bell of "I'm gonna die so you can go to the place you belong"?
My prediction? The final Abyss Plan will occur after we defeat the Tzaritza, and there it will backfire spectacularly. Lumine and Aether will be in front of like... a Teyvat scale bomb or something, and only draining the energy inside the apparatus will save Teyvat, killing them. Either one of them can do it but both decide to go together, as both of them are one in the end. They don't succeed because before they can stab their swords into it Dainsleif comes and Claws his hands into it, teleports them to safety and drains the bomb, disintegrating. He's freed and Aether explains to Lumine Dainsleif's motives to save her, which ultimately boil down to undying love for her friend (Platonic as friends, not romantic).
the implication that lumine’s been this close to aether this often is so interesting, i wonder how it’ll play into the story later on. maybe he’ll catch a glimpse of her during a future archon quest
I believe that they added the Abyssal Twin watching during Mondtadt's archon quest! I'd have to replay it to confirm, though

Honestly it’d be super cool if an archon quest where the abyss twin just walks out of a portal in front of the twin and said they snuck away for a bit wanted to travel with them. During the quest we’d have access to two mc’s on the team with one having no element but still powerful. Then at the end they said they wanted to see stuff in our perspective and that they have to go now. I’d be a pretty cool and touching moment that end bittersweet.
That's the problem, the story does not advance, just meanders and gives just a "hint" every single time. After 2 years, that is not enough. She's been a B so far, I don't know why people want a reunion at this point, a head on battle is more fitting.
She's always been there, and you can tell Lumine is proud of what he's achieved, even if she's had to watch from afar (as shown by her little self in several of the portraits)
Interesting detail is how Lumine is always the one to place Aether in the scene, while others are naturally there. Hint that Lumine has been pulling more strings than we've realized?

but it's the same with paimon. when aether met abyss lumine he immidiately wanted to leave the world with HER, not even looking at paimon or offering or saying paimon comes with them. so i think it's a thing travelers do. remember they traveled many worlds and moved on to next ones, means they always left "companions" friends or people behind and don't really look badly affected by it. it's already shown now. traveler makes friends in mondtadt, moves to liyue. canonically doesn't meet the friends anymore, same with next regions. dain too, he had his time, he lost his time, time for another person to be around (enjou)

that's likely. i'd also note how the abyss hasn't been seen interfering so often on the main archon quests unless it's an interlude/traveler chapter like we will be reunited, and in those it's the sibling who seeks out the abyss. it seems like the abyss sibling does not want the traveler's journey to be interrupted.

After completing all the Aranara stuff, I find it kind of interesting when Lumine went quiet during the Sumeru part. I wonder if it has anything to do with her being Nara Varuna
I always thought that she could be Nara Varuna. Either her or Alice or another blond traveling person like Dainsleif. But since i play as Aether idk if the pronoun usage changes when Aranara talk about Nara Varuna. Especially with that big Aranara family with the "cooking training brothers" being so heavily influenced from the familial bond Varuna had with a brother.

Vishaps are ancient creatures that evolve greatly depending on their environment. We have the geovishaps of Liyue and the arms race that was Enka, so I don't think it's out of the question to say Dvalin is an anemovishap of sorts

well, it's like saying dragons are evolved lizards.
This means also that Dvalin are part of the original inhabitants of Teyvat since it is referred as Vishap. They are literally the gods of ancient Teyvat.
You noticed that he never mentioned any names of the archons and the story told was more or less distorted to what really happened, like the fact that the traveler never wanted to fight against him and never did it because of the inazuma and more because of Yae's moves.
based on of the lore we know from Enkanomiya, all Vishaps come from the same place (another dimension of sorts) and have evolved to fit their surroundings, such as the Vishaps in the darkness of Enkanomiya and the Geo Vishaps in Liyue. Their adaptability is impressive, and the fact that Enjou refers to Dvalin as a Vishap says a lot. Sure, maybe he’s just confused, or maybe, all dragons in Teyvat are descended from Vishaps? i’m curious haha

Lumine hates Dainsleif, but with her experiencing as much as she has and learning about Aether and his exploits, she's reminding me of him in this short
So far the story indicates she does not hold much love for her brother either.
Actually, the teyvat trailer indicates that Dainsleif and Lumine once held a very close relationship. I'm not even sure they hate each other in present day, but definitely not in the past.

The whole thing with Lumine popping her head in during the Sumeru arc is really touching and tragic. For the twin that is the Traveler, whether you main Aether or main Lumine in your story, they're spending all of this time looking for their twin, when what this is implying is that the person they're looking for is *always* close by, just watching from a distance.

I got a tiny bit emotional watching this, and I haven't even been playing for six months. I can still remember that thrill that came with downloading the game and exploring Teyvat for the first time. I've met so many amazing people along my adventure, and seen so many beautiful places. One time, I was going through a particularly tough time and thought I might quit, but then I met a certain character who reminded me why I started this adventure in the first place.
Not only has Genshin been an exciting experience, but it's also changed my real life in subtle, but very real ways. After the 1.4 Archon quest, I realized just how much my own family means to me, and I let them know that. It's a bit ironic that people call Genshin players "fatherless," yet the same game that they insult has improved my relationship with my family, including my father.
Another way that Genshin has Impacted my life is by igniting an interest in cultures that I didn't know much about before. Since each region is based on a different real-world area and culture, sometimes I like to research the inspiration behind each region. It might be a little nerdy, but it's a great way to expand my horizons.
There's also that little spark of imagination that comes with immersing yourself in a fantasy world. When I go outside, I like to pretend that I'm on an adventure in Teyvat. Sometimes, when a nice breeze is blowing, I imagine that it's Venti passing by to say hello. Sure, it may be a little childish, but it's fun.
I can't wait to see what Hoyoverse has in store for us in the years to come. With new regions to explore, new characters to meet, and new stories to experience, I'm sure the next year of Genshin will be unforgettable. Ad astra abyssosque!

I still can't believe it's been 2 years since our journey started in Genshin... As someone who've played this game since release at 1.0, it's truly mind boggling to see how far this game, community & our journey has gotten with the Traveler.
