The type of person i could sit and yarn with all day. I've started walking alot in the past 4 weeks around Newtownabbey and Hazelbank area. I regularly bump into three older gents out walking their dogs in the mornings. I've gotten very fond of the three of them. They're always laughing and joking. Makes my day just seeing them now and having a yarn and a bit of banter. For about 3 months I'd been wrestling with darkness and took up the walking to clear my head. These three gents just make my day now. I'd say they're mid 70s into early 80s. I'm only weeks off 50. I've always enjoyed the company of the older generations. I pride myself in looking out for them. There's not too many people born and raised in Rathcoole like me. In a nutshell, I couldn't care less about where people are from nor their religion. I'll be anyones friend and welcome anyone as mine. We bleed the same. We breathe the same.
Now you are exactly the kind of person I would love to be friends with. I am also around the 50 mark and in need of friends. Sadly I live in a very small town in Canada and the people here are very clicky and so if you weren’t born and raised in this town they don’t have much use for you. It’s a good thing I enjoy my own company.
@MamaJewels99 although i now live where i was born and raised after a good 20+ years living in another town, i very much keep myself to myself. I'd a close friend some 20 years ago who decided he'd contribute to my marriage breaking up, thus i don't really get too involved with others these days. I'm content that way. Shame you live in Canada and I'm in North Belfast. I'm the sort that likes to nip in occasionally to see someone over a mug if tea and a chin wag. It'd be a long walk. I walk about 20 miles a week so it'd take months to swim across the Atlantic.
You stop people to take their pictures. I watch to gain wisdom. Its a beautiful way of keeping in touch with people. I am always curious to hear what they have to say. Pearls of wisdom.
What a wonderful, pleasant and intelligent man 💚
Chris keep this going…it’s a wonderful gift to those of us who love people and people watching and also a valuable social document. 👊🏼🙏

Put this man in touch with the lady who never married and has Christmas on her own. I think they'd make a great couple.
Love how you recognize an ember, bump them and sparks dance from them. Don't stop, please.
Sooooo beautifully stated ❤❤❤
Very nicely handled Chris, what a delightful interviewee :)
Another gem. Very modest of him telling us he’s not wise, he’s very wise indeed.
That is a GORGEOUS man!!!
I wish I could meet him.
Love this guy ❤❤❤❤❤
Terrific, what a warm character.
What a dear, sweet man. Thank you, Christopher!
He "lives in hope that some shortsighted woman will come along" ❤❤

God love him, what a lovely true gentleman.
