In general I see there being 2 team strategies--dive and phalanx. Phalanx involves utility stacking like prayer/shout/bubble and lots of control so they can take and hold positions while surviving vs the hugely buffed shooters. The alternative is dive, where you must take the fight to the shooters before they wreck you e.g 23:15 and 26:53. Ogryn melee aggression is perfectly fine for havok 40, you don't need anything like shout/prayer etc as long as the team apes together. As to range weapon choice--I advocate kickback over ripper now just as a ranged stagger stick to help enable aggression into shooters if things get sloppy and you need to stop a reaper before he eats your toughness in 0.2 seconds.
Jsat is most definitely the best, most knowledgeable asset for Fatshark games. He has been here since the beginning of VT1 if I'm remembering correctly. Maybe even before. He has had his fair share of mistakes sociall but that still doesn't discount the amount of info he has put out and what he has accomplished. He still legendary. He is like an elder, a wise knowledgeable competent player in any "TIDE" game. Over a decade of knowledge. Most people don't even know about him. He is mysterious and doesn't play that often (at least publicly) but when he does, he crushes all content no matter the difficulty. I have been playing since the beginning of Vermintide 2 beta and I respect what jsat has done.
Big bois doing fine but I was worried about Emorist taking on that captain alone in the back corridor. Big drama fight in the large room and up, down and up the stairs again and forgetting the little un'. That other fight is all off-screen and you guys remembering and turning back down the stairs coming back for him was just so Ogryn. But just like an action movie, no worries, he got this. That captain thought he was hot stuff attacking the operatives but he didn't even get to meet the Ogryns. A "small" but mighty Zealot just ended him 1-V-1 in an obscure back room. GG.
@@j_sat I would strongly suggest adding flavor to your gameplay in a form of cosmetics, roleplaying and building kits around roleplaying. I kinda optimized the fun out of the game with my little brother and we have been enjoying DT a lot more with the added role play aspect. Not sure how well this would work if you dont play with randoms tho. There is definetly something to be said about making weird builds for more fun. I did an ogryn with charge and reached over to burst limiter override for rippergun to proc bleed blessing. Ended up with 30% crit rate on my melee (cleavers, mauls, or shovels) and a fun unique ranged option.
My fav for havocs is exe stance vet with agrip braced Exe stance is so underused. You can’t just afk tank gunners now but just some basic dodge sliding and every shooter still dies on the screen. All the useless twits with their dueling swords need this build on their team
Nobody said to use my build lmfao. You think you’re a G cause he can use a dueling sword..? And who even said shit about worlds first needing to use it? You the most average auric player at best

"apes together" haha so fitting for Ogryns
Secretly this was the most fun game I had in Havoc 40. Glad you posted it, I still can't find my footage.
If you do find it, ímagine if we could get a cut-together movie out of this. :)
can you move the squad-frames? they're not misaligned enough compared to the rest of your UI
Waaaay too smart and coordinated for Ogryns, didn't feel right
I really enjoy seeing the teamwork here. :)
Honestly it has revived my interest in playing tide. The teamwork potential in this game is off the charts high for pve
what was your build? i havent used feel no pain in a long time ahaha

I see ogryns, I upvote.

GG.
Ogryn based squads really seem to like 1/2 runties to do specialist jobs for them, you feel it when you don't bring one.
damn, thats how it's done lads, really nice
Do you by chance have a link to this build? Been following you since Vermintide. Thx
I wish I had people who could plan out havoc missions and consistently play with them
show build plis :B
So when do us regular rejects get to play havoc on chasm station? :P
good question I want the rest of the maps too
So basically a squad of Astartes without power armor. Ogryns could never do this level of coordination 😂
Whats your ogryn build?
What if Kruber was 8 feet tall. And there were three of them! 😂
Glad to see you back in action, but also taking care for burnout 😊
yeah, might be about to hiatus again :(
Getting bored already? ;) gg!
A little sadly :(

Meanwhile the world first havoc 40 video all used dueling swords and the veteran used plasma gun + shout. Surely they need your garbage build.
