I like 阿星探店Chinese Food Tour. He speaks quickly and I can hear quite a bit of the “er” in his accent but that’s precisely why I like practicing my listening with his channel. Plus you get to learn some things about the local culture of the places he visits.
Oh yes, there is one I'm already subscribed to! Thank you for this video, it's quite hard to find videos to watch just to get that listening comprehension going on. I usually just type some of the new words I've learnt into the search bar and check anything that seems interesting, but it can be quite a tedious practice.
All the ones I watch were listed except for 小高姐的 Magic Ingredients th-cam.com/users/MagicIngredientsfeatured She does relatively easy cooking videos, but with a more US ingredient centric focus than Wang Gang. Her accent to me is fine, and there are English subs if needed.
hey Jared I have a question about watching tv shows and learning vocab. i am at a 6-7th grade level with my mandarin, and i started watching 爱情公寓. i read the chinese subs and can get the gist of wats happening if not more, and understand jokes here and there, but just not the deep jokes. there is many vocab words i dont understand in the show, so how should i go about using this show to help me learn new vocab?
I'm a CBC and can speak conversational Mandarin and that first lady doing food videos talks too fast and not everyday language. I can understand your videos (your main channel), Afu, and Xia Bobo Brian.

比如The Dodo Men，他們是生活在美國的台灣人，
他們的影片都有雙字幕（中、英），覺得還蠻適合學習中文的！
而且其實中國本地人需要翻牆才能用youtube，所以影片內容相對比較限縮，

You can check out 鍾明軒's channel, although I don't know if it's exactly what your looking for
Huuuum. Taiwanese youtube channels, maybe? Mainland China is pretty conservative :(
