This happens in a lot of stealth games lmao, it’s dumb but it’s for balance reasons. If the npc were hyper aware at all times it would just become hard for the sakes of being hard.

You wanna run around aimlessly not caring about the stealth aspect of the game then go play an action adventure game. The dumbing down of ia in stealth games for casuals like you is one of the defining reasons the stealth genre is as good as dead.

I miss AC: Unity’s gameplay style. Ubisoft was really on to something with Unity. They expanded on it a little with Syndicate, but then they just abandoned that style of AC. And, unfortunately, I’ve lost all hope that they will ever go back to that style of AC. It’s such a shame.
