Origin has an incredible soundtrack and atmosphere that makes you want to come back to the game! Which is absolutely not the case with Mirage. I had enough for 8 hours in Mirage. Soylent product
As a story, as an AC game, as a stealth game, and overall quality wise, Mirage wins. Origins has a slight edge in some specific things like colour balance and the scale of it. It's overall fun to explore Egypt when the RPG mechanics bs doesn't get in the way, too. Mirage is more focused. It's more like 1 and Unity. Origins is more like Black Flag. I definitely prefer Mirage but I didn't like Origins at all, besides Egypt itself.
I love assassin's creed not bc of the small details but of the story it has the best so far thats why its just better its the origin of the hidden ones where it all started ❤️
@Al-iu1nz Bruh I just KNOW you ain't dissing the one and only Sony Playstation classic "Barbie Explorer," released on September 4, 2001 in North America and December 7, 2001 in the European Union.
Origins had one of the best build-ups around Bayek, he was the most charismatic protagonist since Ezio, maybe even more charismatic than the latter, his story, his vengence, his sorrow, his relationship with Aya, it was one of the best written backgrounds and stories in the A.C history, one thing this game did bad was going full RPG instead of the A.C core. They should've gave us another couple of real Assassins games with Bayek as the first master assassin in Rome, Gaul, Carthage, Britain, Judea and India instead of spending their time in fantasy DLCs and generic badly optimized RPGs that do nothing but copy other games.
Beyeks hidden ones outfit is still my favorite master assassin outfit in the franchise, I hate that you have to buy the dlc to get it but it is a good dlc
One day the rest of the community will finally realize Mirage is the best game in the series, and I have been a fan for decades. Mirage actually puts in the most effort of any entry into being a stealth focused adventure in a world that's condensed and easy to traverse, but vibrant and full of life. Compare Mirage to Unity and Syndicate, which also excelled in this area, though Mirage takes the extra step in adding a desert outside the main city, and has smaller cities like Anbar and Jarjaraya for players to explore. The combat in Mirage is weak, and that is intentional, and a good decision by Ubisoft. Basim is an assassin, not a warrior. While I do enjoy Origins, and am actively replaying it right now, Mirage is my preferred entry due to a more condensed narrative and world, better stealth mechanics, and more fluid parkour and movement options. Either way, between these two entries, I enjoy the desert environment as a backdrop for Assassin's Creed.
If after 10 years UBISOFT make a remake of ORIGINS add more details to the buildings and to everything and will sold it as new game I will buy it again. Because in ORIGINS I feel my self as Indiana Jhones.
You can see how they skip the attention to details, or putting in more work into things recently, because they must cut to reduce the development cost as much as possible but keep the game somewhat to the standards of the industry, more in visual terms. All of the mechanics and code part I believe they are reusing stuff or they have tools that help them with that, and of course not make it from scratch. The most costly part is making the assets and visuals, which they love to outsource to reduce the costs too, only the core team is there to control the quality of the made assets and integrate it.
Only thing I hated about orgins and odyssey is how you constantly had to upgrade your armor and Weapons as you keep leveling up it was so expensive to find all the resources for legendary weapons and armour it was ridiculous I liked that they made it easier in Valhalla
I thought Valhalla was the newest part, now Miage is already a year old and a new part has been announced. How quickly time passes, what is happening here
story - origins (longer plus just a more interesting story to me) protagonist - origins (basim more or less just a killer street thief, Bayek is just him ngl) combat - origins (SLIGHTLY more complex than mirage's two button combat system, parry -> death, maybe it changes in higher difficulties, but I want a challenge and pressing two buttons is not that) landscape/world - origins graphics - mirage (aside from those copy paste ah sand effects from Valhalla) (I'm a bit more biased since Egypt is just a cool setting) stealth - could go either way, I like some aspects of origin's stealth a bit more, but mirage's stealth is also good also just to put this here, ac origins has actual mirages......
I was proud to have found all the?sad rock formations on my own without internet in my initial Origins game! Mirage will be the first AC I didn’t finish… Something was missing?
Origins is better imo because of 2 important events that happened during my playthrough, the 1st, when inwas exploring Siwa to unlock all of the fast travel places, i ran into this Pyramid that was attacked by Bahumut from FF15 and then come characters teleported away and left behind a shield and weapon and it was epic af, it was mid day, clear blue skies, the 2nd event was during the 2nd DLC when u gotta fight the standing skeleton dog things (sorry i dont know the names) and that was epic as hell as far as Egyptian Mythology, so yea.
Mirage is better, because it is more AC. It's a stealth based storyline rpg, like AC 2, Brotherhood, revelations. AC 3 has an amazing storyline and deserves a lot more credit than it gets. Black flag was awesome, because it brought the big open world, but kinda kept true to the roots of the game, I won't mention rogue. Unity and syndicate where playable but not amazing. Origins, Odessy and Valhalla are ok games, but feel more like hack and slash instead of rpg and the leveling system is a grinding drag of a nightmare. Story lines are good, but that's about it. If you started playing AC when origins came out, you have no clue what AC is.
Well i started playing since assassin's creed 1 with altaïr and i kinda agree with what you said but i still enjoyed the world of origins. And the fact that origins didn't feel like an assassin's creed game is pretty normal cuz the organisation of assassins didn't exist yet and the whole plot of the game is about how the assassins were born so pretty accurate
That parkour looking ruff in origins. Also no comparison on stealth cause origins can't compete in stealth. A lot of people love origins, but mirage is clearly the game more fitting as an AC game. Ubi should make a spin off ip that doesn't drag the AC name into whatever they plan to do with these rpg games.
Violence in game doesn't affect to mature people but affect to under age people. Attack on enemy during in war is halal But attack on innocent people is haram That game is basim backstory from AC: Valhalla
So basically the only thing they improved was the graphic engine, the boat animation and that camels can swim. Ubisoft really needs to hire an entirely different team of game developers.
Origin's Bayek was voiced by a black man. But didn't hear anyone making a petition for racism or historical accuracy. Almost sounds like the stuff with Ac Shadows is bullsh*t.
I love origins. It was also okay to not be an assassin because its the origin story. But i couldnt end odyssey and valhalla because they games were nothing like ac. Not story or gameplay . but mirage felt like ac again. Kinda.

The sand effect in mirage kind of looks similar to the snow effect in Valhalla
its the same type
9:19 reminds me of AC2 GONDOLA❤️❤️❤️🗿
Origin has an incredible soundtrack and atmosphere that makes you want to come back to the game!
Which is absolutely not the case with Mirage.
I had enough for 8 hours in Mirage.
Soylent product
Origins parkour feels like a mobile game where you don't actually have to play the game, the character just does it automatically.
Can anyone the music that plays when Bayek discovers that he's being hunted by the Scarab hunters during a walk in the desert?
2:58 in the music that mystery recap uses all the time😂❤
I love assassin's creed not bc of the small details but of the story it has the best so far thats why its just better its the origin of the hidden ones where it all started ❤️
Both are differently beautiful in their diversity and in details and in geography....
Both are awful

A camel swims as if it has a built-in motor, ubisoft will never come close to being like rockstar
Origins and Black Flag are the 2 games i replay the most.
I am trying to decide if I play Valhalla for the first time or simply replay Origins after7 years
Origins
Both!
O R I G I N S
Is one of the best games ever made
One day the rest of the community will finally realize Mirage is the best game in the series, and I have been a fan for decades.
I missed out on origins but loved odyssey, should I go back and play it?
Just started it and loved it
I played Assassin's Creed Odyssey, but Origins looks really cool, I'm going to download it
Won't lie watching this Origins combat clip was depressing, that combat system is so fast with so many things to do.
If after 10 years UBISOFT make a remake of ORIGINS add more details to the buildings and to everything and will sold it as new game I will buy it again. Because in ORIGINS I feel my self as Indiana Jhones.
Basim had all the chances to be a new Desmond yet was crushed by the lack of funds (or care)
Origins was absolutely fire the only downside was the parkour being lack luster and the level and damage scaling, everything else was incredible
Origins for all
Only thing I hated about orgins and odyssey is how you constantly had to upgrade your armor and Weapons as you keep leveling up it was so expensive to find all the resources for legendary weapons and armour it was ridiculous I liked that they made it easier in Valhalla
Mirage is the best assassin bc it's the real story of assassins in Iraq, nothing can beat the real events
I wish that the parkour was the same as the first and you had gear to get faster that you earned. It would have made the game more challenging
This like asking which is better (Liver or steak)?
I thought Valhalla was the newest part, now Miage is already a year old and a new part has been announced. How quickly time passes, what is happening here
story - origins (longer plus just a more interesting story to me)
protagonist - origins (basim more or less just a killer street thief, Bayek is just him ngl)
combat - origins (SLIGHTLY more complex than mirage's two button combat system, parry -> death, maybe it changes in higher difficulties, but I want a challenge and pressing two buttons is not that)
landscape/world - origins
graphics - mirage (aside from those copy paste ah sand effects from Valhalla)
(I'm a bit more biased since Egypt is just a cool setting)
stealth - could go either way, I like some aspects of origin's stealth a bit more, but mirage's stealth is also good
also just to put this here, ac origins has actual mirages......
Details & Physics will ALWAYS belong to Origins
AC mirage is a small project of ubisoft game
That game is good for Muslim people
Because that game don't have any satanic sign symbols
Yeah you’re right but it does involve slaughtering your targets. Is that muslim?
Violence in game doesn't affect to mature people but affect to under age people.
Attack on enemy during in war is halal
But attack on innocent people is haram
That game is basim backstory from AC: Valhalla
Did the protagonist from Origins said "Oh s*!t, oh s*!t" when he was on fire? 😂 That's very rare to hear on an Assassin's Creed game.
Origins was the last AC with a decent story. I prefer the first 3 ACs still though
Que realista el Origins. Cuando Bayek salió ardiendo del eno salió con la piel quemada. Como siempre ubisoft cuidando del más mínimo detalle.
They both look fricken amazing!
Mirage seems like the character drag hes feet in sand. Non realistic at all
in mirage is a reactable polygons while in Origins it is more like a shader effect it is animated sand effects
@@Cute-boy169 I know its more technology involved but it seems a downgrade to me
Fr
Because it used same animation while walking in Ac Valhalla
Looks like they used the same animation as the walk on snow in AC Valhalla..
So basically the only thing they improved was the graphic engine, the boat animation and that camels can swim. Ubisoft really needs to hire an entirely different team of game developers.
I personally think these two are the AC games with best running animations
Origin's Bayek was voiced by a black man. But didn't hear anyone making a petition for racism or historical accuracy. Almost sounds like the stuff with Ac Shadows is bullsh*t.
Mirage copied a lot of the environment from Orgins. But Origins did it way better.
Man, I stopped paying attention to Assassin's Creed since 2. Even Origins seems like "new" Assassin's Creed to me.
U forgot that in AC Origins Bayek will see mirage in the desert. But in AC Mirage there is no mirage 😂😂😂
I love origins. It was also okay to not be an assassin because its the origin story. But i couldnt end odyssey and valhalla because they games were nothing like ac. Not story or gameplay . but mirage felt like ac again. Kinda.
