Sigamos. Dándole Gracias a Dios.
I'm so saddened to see this. I can see more of the damage here up close and personal. Guanica is a beautiful town. Let's continue to pray for them and all of Puerto Rico. Thanks for posting.
Again thanks for sharing your vlog with us. I have family in guanica because of you I get to see the damage to my hometown. Once again thank you. God bless. 🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷
Like always Ovi good job. Thank you for keep bringing so much information the only way people from the state see better what been happening in Puerto Rico.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙏🏽😇🇵🇷
Lots of irreplaceable damage to many historic sites and to many good people.. (Guánica Lighthouse (Spanish: Faro de Guánica) was a historic lighthouse located in the town of Guánica, Puerto Rico in the Guánica State Forest. It was first lit in 1893 and deactivated in 1950. The light marked the entrance to Guánica Bay and bridge the gap between Los Morrillos Light and Caja de Muertos Light. On July 25, 1898, lighthouse keeper Robustiano Rivera spotted the convoy of the American forces that initiated the landing offensive of the Puertorican Campaign during the Spanish-American War. He immediately gave the alert to the residents of Guánica and marched to Yauco where he broke the news of the invading forces to the city's mayor. By 2009, the lighthouse was practically in ruins, though some parts of its unique architectural elements were still visible. It was listed in the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1981).
I appreciate bringing into light the situation of our brothers in the south. I'll be going to Guayanilla this Sunday to take some supplies where help hasn't gotten to yet. I won't be vlogging, but with your permission, I'd like to link your vlog to mines.
So sad to see the destruction of these buildings and homes, my heart and prayers goes out to my fellow Puertoricans back home may God protect and help them, thank you Ovi and Hayden for all the info and footage God also bless you both!
Mucho detalle, gracias.
Hi Ovi! Good job keeping us updated my friend, im just weeping of sadness looking at all the damage, and not knowing if its over! Is even worst! Please god help our people and our beautiful island get back to their feet!🙏thank you again Ovi, and be safe out there. ✌😥👍
Me and my wife noticed something odd with the sea current via some drone footage taken the afternoon before the earthquake hit the area. Sea currents rarely leave the Ensenada Bay area as the sea flows in one direction (towards the coastline). There was an unnerving low swell leaving the bay area as if nature was preparing itself for a major event and the earthquake hit right before dawn the next day.
Man, I appreciate you and Hayden bringing us real info from Puerto Rico. You guys are doing a great job. Be super careful out there you don't want to get too close to those unstable buildings. My family is in Vega Baja and they said the first one they felt was 1-11-2020 at like 6 am. Keep up the good work
Today 1-15- 20 I just read an article in Reuters stating that the bees are abandoning their nests in guaysnilla/ southern Puerto rico due to the earthquake activity. Bees communicate with vibration. It's possible they feel something big coming? Maybe everyone you know should find shelter in a different part of the island or of island. Please spread the word. In Indonesia before the big tsunami the elephants and other animals ran for higher ground and new something was going to happen. Elephants also communicate with vibration through the feet.
Allan Bacon It shows how much he cares he hasn’t even try to go over there and find out on his own behave how we are doing. So sad doesn’t even consider as a president no one from the White House has show there face on our island is like we don’t exist. But god is good karma willl come back. Thank you Mr. President for nothing. But you what Puerto Rican’s will get back on their feet with out your help ... God bless Puerto Rico. US Territory. 🙏🏼
@@grammyandus6743 I understand your suffering and desperation, I am merely trying to understand. You thank him "for nothing" , but he did declare a state of emergency and approved funds. Remains to be seen how many funds and how long to get them and mostly, how to make sure they actually reach the population and are not stolen or misused. I am in Europe and take no sides, again, just trying to understand. Also, I can't help but think that, for better or for worst, without the US there would be no help whatsoever, it's hard to survive natural disasters when living in a small island....islands are not self sufficient on many levels and are...isolated; and as pretty as Guanica, Yauco etc are... these houses on this kind of topography AND on a seismic area could have never survived several +5, + 6 earthquakes. Perhaps it's time to rethink construction techniques and regulations, invite experienced architects and engineers, build infrastructures accordingly...count your blessings, had the first earthquake struck three hours later, chances are the school would have been destroyed with the children inside. This is what happened to us here in Italy not too long ago: San Giuliano di Puglia in 2002, a 5.4 struck and 26 little ones died. Count your blessings and rethink building strategies so your future is safer. G-d bless

Sad to see the town where I grew up, destroyed that way. The Town Hall didn't even look like that when I left, it had not been remodeled... sad to see the remodeling didn't make it past the earthquakes. I haven't been there since 1999, my son was there last year told me not much had been done to fix the town yet. Back in 1989, I used to play the piano and give outdoor shows. I gave a nice show at the gazebo at the malecón once, another one in Playa Santa. I don't think anyone remembers me. I remember the town's famous singer Mita, she is/was godmother to my brother (no idea if she still lives). I am one of the 'few' people here in the USA who believe I should've never left my island (I was 13 it wasn't my choice). BTW, I went to Escuela Fraternidad in Ciénaga 1982, Colégio Beata Imelda 1983-88 0:31 and Agripina Seda 9:34 1989. My heart stayed in Guánica. PS. 11:11 yep, at the dry forest there's A LOT of cotton plants, I used to be amazed with that fact.
It's so heartbreaking to see the terrible damage the earthquake has done to this lovely town. I hope and pray that nobody was hurt or killed. And what has Pres. Trump done? He never even mentioned or tweeted anything about this. Puerto Ricans are American citizens and he acts like it's a foreign country. He treats his dictator friends better than he treats the people of Puerto Rico who have suffered so much, first with Hurricane Maria and now several earthquakes . May God bless all the people of Puerto Rico!
