@@bladegalaxy5298there are currently 6 Mega Starters with 7 other generations that means that there is a 1/21 chance of Mega Incineroar if the Paldea starters appear in Legends Z-A. 1/18 if not plus Galarian Slowbro kinda puts the chances of Regional Forms getting Megas higher cause Regular Slowbro has a Mega
I am so happy. Pokemon Z always felt like a dream that would never come true. Now it's coming back AND in Legends Form!? I am so excited to delve into Kalo's deeper history!!!

The first time i heard about it i tought was a bad joke made by some fool than wanted to bait whit fake news im so happy i was wrong and it came as a Pokemon Legends, Kalos have sooo much stuff to offer plus Megas are coming Back!! ❤

I don’t know why anyone was expecting Unova remakes, there was no way they were being released in Gen 9, cause there is a pattern:
Gen 4- Gen 2 remakes
Gen 6- Gen 3 remakes
Gen 8- Gen 4 remakes
Gen 10- Gen 5 remakes
Unova remakes were never coming out this gen

@@peterrealar2.067 It’s not being rude, it’s saying the truth. In recent years we have always had remakes released every other generation. Since Gen 8 had remakes, that means by default the next would be in gen 10
I am a massive Gen 5 fan and expected Unova remakes, but as for this Presents: I came expecting copper and I found gold. So hyped.

Imagine being hired to be a part of one of the greatest franchises in the world and then fuck it up so badly that no one wants to hear from you again. Nearly every reaction was "Don't say ilca Don't say ilca Don't say ilca"
People's problem with the diamond and pearl remakes were literally just that they weren't platinum
I think the problems the fact they hate the artstyle, its one to one with glitches, priced as a new game and yeah also the platimum stuff not being there

Legends Arceus sets the standards so high players expected another Legends game. Hyped when Legends Z-A is revealed.

I still think this is one of the most shocking game announcements Pokémon has put out so far. Absolutely everything was pointing towards Unova or Johto, and then they hit us with Kalos. Along with mega evolution, making its triumphant return to the main series games, we are in for a very interesting treat to say the least.
Nothing was pointing towards johto or unova aside from fan theories.

@@briandear1401 There was also a wild amount of Johto in the presents, you had the unknown, the legendary beasts getting added to Pokemon Sleep, and the battle between Lance and Silver during the Pokemon Masters EX segment.

I’m thinking Legends Z-A will be the last Pokémon game they release for the Switch, and make Gen 10 on a new console

Someone else in another comment section said this most likely takes place in the same time period as the first Legends game.
Which makes sense, the real Paris was completely redeveloped around the same time Hokkaido was colonized by Japan. (Late 1800s)
A lot of people said this game would take place before or during the great war, but I personally think it would be the post-war event with the whole "Redevelopment" thing.
@@ChaffleWadapon that’s my guess as well, we could very well be rebuilding Lumiose after the Great War and the ancient weapon was fired the first time
I'm highly doubtful that the game will be set during AZ's reign. Even if Pokemon history isn't a verbatim copy of human history, such a level of futuristic blueprint for a city (even the paper version) is far too modern for 3000 years ago.
@@hydrosphagus9672 My take is that each legends game takes place away from each other at a random point in history. Arceus took place in ancient times and the biggest thing with Arceus was the fact you had primal/wild pokemon roaming around. Yet in Legends Z you see a city with pokemon living in peace which means they have to be fairly domesticated. Plus the "Urban Redevelopment plan" seems too Modern for a ancient times game so I'm expecting this to take place in around 17-1800's Esque time period
I was hopeful for something related to Gen 5, but I am more than happy with a new Kalos game with Legends: Z-A. No complaints at all from me.
I am completely expecting gen 5 remakes and a gen 5 legends game 2027-2028

gen1 was remade in gen3, gen2 in gen4, gen3 in gen6, and gen4 in gen8. w/ exception to gen 1's main remake, and the one-off of Let's Go (which was a remodel, not a remake), the pokemon co'.s pattern is clear: every main remake happens during the new gen# that is 2x the remade gen's #. so, gen5 was ALWAYS slated for remake in gen10, and gen6 in gen12, etc...
A funny coincidence with that is also that they each came out on a different console after the first new Generation (FRLG was on the GBA after RSE, HGSS was on the DS after DPPl, ORAS was on the 3DS after XY, and BDSP was on the Switch after SwSh.) It could be both technically, but due to how the release schedule of pokemon lines up with the release schedule of new consoles.
Or FRLG is only an exception because that's what started remakes due to the console not being able to transfer from Gens 1 and 2. Either works.
While I'm so happy that Kalos is getting the love it deserves, I feel bad for all those Unova and Johto fans not getting their remakes or anything I feel bad for em but it's not the end of the world yet, there's still hope for all those Johto and Unova fans out there 😁😁😁
I'm a Unova fan but I'll take another legends game anyway 😍
Unova still has gen 10 before they'll get remakes or sequels, though I'm not sure about Legends Johto unless they somehow can wedge in a third legendary for Ho-Oh and Lugia.

We already got a taste of Unova in Indigo Disk, plus the last remake was only 2 years ago so yeah obviously they aren't gonna do Gen 5 remakes now. We'll probably get something Johto related or Gen 10 after this and then Gen 5 remakes.
But I'm very happy for Gen 6 fans. I personally can't get myself to like X/Y at all. I can appreciate aspects of it but it had a lot of wasted potential, which I hope Z-A can fix. Let's hope they have improved their engine too (that's the most important part)

I wanna point out something.
Pokémon Legends Arceus was released on January 22nd in 2022, so there’s a good chance that Legends Z-A could be released in January 2025.
If that’s true, they might be doing the Pokemon formula with the 2-3 year wait until the next Legends game.
But that’s just a guess for me.

Zed is z in Britain, Canada, and other places. It's just legends Z in different dialects, especially if they say it before the -A appears.

ILCA is the actual developer of Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, who got the outsourced job because GameFreak was busy making Legends Arceus and Scarlet Violet during the COVID pandemic. Most fans consider BDSP to be the worst Pokemon games in recent times and the worst remakes ever, which unfortunately results in those fans labeling ILCA as unfit for making Pokemon games due to ruining gen 4 remakes.

To add some kinda specualtion/half-confirmed things, it's supposed, based on some development artworks, that bdsp was supposed to have free flying, like the Lati twins thing in OrAs, or at least similar to it, and GameFreak would have decided to take it to Legends Arceus instead.
And it was announced to be faithfull remakes, and it was, people just didn't understand how far that would go, and they just didn't like the chibi style in 3D, even though that was part of them being faithfull remakes. Their loss imo.

As much as a lot of people like Gen 5, it was the least popular generation in the franchise, where it had the lowest sales and gamers felt the franchise has gotten stale due to too many low quality pokemon and the fact it got sequels instead of a previous gen remake. No wonder why they skipped it since Gen 6 is ranked the 5th in best selling generation especially with Mega evolution, official 3D world, and the new fairy type.
Why everyone so surprise with megas Back? Mega evolution came in kalos, so of course is back lol

@animeanime7849 I think it's more that Kalos were kind of just dropped after their games came out. Almost every new Gen got something after there release, whether it was DLC, a third game, or the oddities of USUM and B2W2. Kalos/XY/Gen 6 seemed to be setting things up with Zygarde and the amine's XYZ arcs (where part of the idea for the hypothetical Pokemon Z comes from, as well as Zygarde's name like Xerneas and Yveltal) but nothing happened to Kalos until Legends Z-A. That's also why people were shouting when the Z appeared.
