I usually play with the push 1 instead of the launchpad. My only complaint with this setup is that I miss the endless encoders on the push. Those make it much easier to jump between synth patches and pick up control quickly. I do prefer how lightweight this combination is though.
Just a thought I had, what do you do about tempo control when you use these two controllers? I was having to use my mouse for it and I feel like it was my main hangup.
