A great American writer. I hope this book quickly finds its way into our classrooms.

Why he never visited the real-life setting of his new book? He forgot his airplane ticked and left it in the taxi.

Whitehead should set his next book in one of those peaceful and prosperous African nations.

Nope not reading his writing! As a native American, this stuff wasn't limited to any specific color and my people having suffered thru such ,he can stir the mud snfor some other fool who wants to carry a chip on their shoulder. I'm alive now and agree with what his parents told him about creating positive outcomes now in a country where that's possible. No more dwelling on oppression for me, I'm done w being owned by a past that doesn't promote a future.

Don't look at it that way I feel all pass discriminatory acts done against all people should be discussed because one could get a better understanding as to why there treated as such today it's lays out a patterned behavior...

Colston is fair on racial accounts in this book. There's plenty of gray.
