Emily you knit so many beautiful garments in 2023. I think your family are so blessed with all the time and love you put into making them their Dad Sweaters. I’ve knit my family matching socks but never sweaters. Your Aurelia sweater is stunning and is the perfect fit. I’m sure that you’ll get so much wear out of it.
Hi Emily. I’m new to your channel and so happy to have found you. I was just talking (on my YT podcast) about wanting to knit some basic tee’s this year. I’m going to check out your pattern. If the gauge works (well enough) with the yarns I’m wanting to use I’m thrilled that I don’t have to come up with a pattern myself (I’m a designer too), lol. I’m obsessed with your Auralie sweater. It’s stunning. And I had a suggestion for your Vellichor top… It would look adorable over a white collared button blouse for the cooler days. The blue color in that with some denim… OMGoodness, that would be just too cute together. I also love your Strata Vest. Great job. Thanks for sharing all of your projects. Happy knitting in 2024. ❤
the Port sweater yarn combo is beautiful and that is definitely your color!! Just run an elastic thread and if you still don't love the neck you could then fold it over
Before you even talked about the shoulder shaping on the Color Tip Tee I had added it to my queue! I could see immediately that the construction was impeccable - then you talked about how hard you worked on it - it really shows! Can’t wait to knit it 😊
LisaR : Aurelia is gorgeous:) I knit very similar one for my husband that took a year( most of that in hibernation;) bc it had no charts :0! wish there was a men's pattern for this one - my son requested - maybe it would work - have to check out the pattern . Happy knitting & fun , safe travels !
Thanks for sharing! All your knits are beautiful and I love that Aurelia! I looove teal and rust colors - so you know I’m always loving your color choices! :)
@@emweecurt it would probably take me forever ! - I i a pretty slow knitter 🙃 Also as you said about the brighter colors - I have a sense that for my regular wearing it would probably feel like too much. Staying tuned for something else I might match with you.
Your Aurelia is making me crave casting on some cables very much & I think it’s so sweet that when you speak about Maya it’s like you use her full name My Friend Maya. She will never have a doubt about your friendship Happy New Year!
FYI I think the corri e worsted yarn is worsted spun and dk weight… that’s where the worsted in the name comes from… I only learned this recently too and now I am more careful when I see worsted in the name! :)
That totally makes sense! I've seen it listed as both DK and Worsted weight different places so I wonder if this is a common misconception. It certainly feels more like DK weight. Thanks!
I’m trying to improve my crocheting skills. I would really like to learn which vest pattern you used in crochet. My knitting skills are superb so I’m not really interested in knitting the vest. Could you share which crochet vest pattern you used?
@@emweecurt 😂 I searched and that sweater popped up before I saw your comment. Thank you! I’ve asked my knitting/crochet friends to hold my hand through the process. Anxious to get started but presently have 4 projects in the works

Love all your knits, and I loved that you tried on all your garments. It's so much nicer to see them on than just holding them up.
I just found this channel on a random TH-cam suggestion and now I need to make all of these patterns…. Instant subscribe!
Thanks so much!
Love your last sweater Best, colour suits you, beautiful pattern, great job, all other were plain but thank you to share.
Watching this helped inspire me to look at some of these patterns and yarns I never heard of before. You are a very accomplished knitter 👍
Some good work here, Emily - no wonder you're beaming with pride.
Your totally tank top would look super cute layered under an open chambray or grey denim top
Great idea!!
