Yes! I thought the same thing, I love to overdye clothe in colors that I find out don't really suit me. The Monday sweater overdying would make a fun video too!
. Great idea. I've never thought you could dye wool or arcrylic. I've sweaters which I don't wear because the colour looks nice on the skein but I don't like it on the finished article. Do you need a special dye??
I dye my yarn for my shop with acid dyed and that works for protein fibers so in my case I think that would work for this sweater too. However I have no idea yet how to make sure it is not going to be super blotchy and how I'm going to find a pan big enough that will fit a sweater and on my stove since it is activated by heat😂

You could try an over dye on it, I saw one redyed on yarn for the people, it turned out beautiful.
