In this project, we will learn how to make IoT Based Home Automation Project using Google Firebase & NodeMCU ESP8266. One of the most common & popular hobby projects you will come across the internet is Home Automation Project. By Home Automation we mean controlling home appliances without a manual switch. When connected with the Internet, home devices are an important constituent of the Internet of Things (“IoT”) Application.
We will design a Home Automation Android Application using MIT APP Inventor. Using the Firebase Host & Authentication Key, we will connect the Android Application with Google Firebase. We will then send the ON/OFF command as 1/0 from App. The data from the App is sent to Google Firebase. Now the Google Firebase data is updated to NodeMCU Board via Internet Connection. Thus the digital GPIO Pins becomes high & low turning ON/OFF the appliances connected to Relay.

I want to use Google Voice Assistant with Node MCU. without External App like Blynk, Sinic Pro, IFTTT, etc. I want to use Node.js and connect? Did you make any such videos. I tried using google assistant api in google cloud with blaze subscription as well. I am getting errors. Do we need really Rasberry PI for this?

is there is any issue in firebase server?? when click on buttons on app, no data is updating on firebase database, also nodeMCU not connecting to firebase server. how we can solve this issue?
open FirebaseHttpClient , you find it in Documents\Arduino\libraries\firebase-arduino-master\src
search for static const char kFirebaseFingerprint[] =
and paste that:

firebase changes always its fingerprint , that's bad in firebase

Arduinojson library does not use in my code..
It requires JSON Library as well. Try the old library if it does not support the new one.
Nodecmu does not communicate with Google firebase...?
Follow the entire video for properly setting the app and code.
Also use the latest firebase library.

This happened to me as well because I was using the old Firebase library. Please download the latest Firebase library.
