maby a little late but i woud train to walk in difficult terain with your mountain boots and a heavy backpack . big stones wich are lose and wobble with a light pich is optimal . best case szenario is if you have a little bit snow . but it also depends how much Experience you have . have you ever climbed a mountain or is it your first one . the most importent thing is that your equipment is working ( tent shoes parker socks ... ) if one of those things fail your whole trip is canceled
