Crikey, and I thought my Fjallraven tent pitched on a Welsh mountain seemed plush.
I wonder if someone could do Tyree during the same trip?
Yes of course! Email us for more info: info[at]climbingthesevensummits.com
Typical of Americans, build a damn hotel up in the mountains, while Mount Everest is supposed to represent a mortal challenge and an experience of a lifetime. I suppose most people just want to take pictures of the mountains for social media and spend rest of their time like they would in the comfort of their own home.
honeymoon....you guys rock🦾
do people who want an everest experience but not the extremities of going to the sumit just hike to base camp or some other point on the mountain?
So after acclimatising in previous vids, then taking oxygen in the death zone, does that undo all the benefit derived from acclimatising in the first place?
Really great insights, tks for sharing
Very excellent information thank you
Shout the Sherpa’s

Yellow snow at the Balcony rest stop. He he.
I work at a luxury ski resort in Switzerland. Please don’t bring luxury to high altitude. It is just dangerous to have that type of mentality up there. If you want luxury - relax by the pool, please.
When are we going to see these people show what they did in on their climb in comparison to what the Sherpas did for them. You see people thank the Sherpas but they don't go through what and how much they did for them. The reason is because it dampens the glory they are seeking for themselves. It shows how reliant they are on somebody else to pursue their dream. They are never going to admit to anyone how much they didn't actually do for themselves, if they did nobody would be really that impressed. Everest is a queue of mostly privileged people contributing to a cess pit and when they are giving their motivational speech as guest speakers, they should acknowledge their part. Is so sad that Everest is the toilet for foreign ambition. Standing on top of the world's highest peak shows how. Exactly how low the human race will go to pursue it. Dump their rubbish, take a crap on the Mother Goddess of the World and walk past another dying human just to brag about what somebody else mostly did for them.
yup, thats why they pay the 25-35k or whatever it is for the assistance, they dont hand over that money they dont get up there, the whole charade is assisted big time
Why don’t they build a chalet?
How long does it take to make it back to base camp from the summitt. ?
Usually 2 days. People dropback to either the South Col or Camp 2 following the summit and back to Base Camp the next day.
And going to the basecamp via the Goldmine roads is not possible?
Good lord... those dudes are fearless.
disgusting luxury, tenzing and hillary would laugh at u clowns
What are the results of the new regulations set up by Nepal? Do you have to take the big house down? En suites are banned too, I think.

Still not there hip and pelvis are not ready. Not sure if I'll ever get there but I keep training like animal and dreaming. If nothing else I've recovered way better than anyone expected by trying to reach my goals.
i wish you the best of luck
I know you guys are not at fault, but it is sad to hear about the pollution on Everest from all the decades. Many people down below the mountain can't drink water from their streams because of human waste that is in the water system or water table. Not to mention the microplastics.
A 90yr old man with 1 leg climbed Everest...
Best training is just putting yourself in similar conditions during training. Take hikes at high altitudes, run up hills/mountains. If you're not near any mountains/hills, get a treadmill and push that incline into max. It would also be a good idea to put some weights on yourself to simulate the baggage you would carry. Bottom line is, the more you can simulate Everest conditions during training, the better
Sorry, north side is better, more beautiful and more challenging…
What if you need to poo.
How can the oxygen cylinder last for months of climbing?.
17:53 : Everything will be non veg. Yuck.
Big question for all.
How can the climbers climb during the night?. Till how much meter can a normal person climb without oxygen cylinder?.
Hang on. The summit from camp four takes 5-6 days??
90% of so called mountaineers can’t summit everest without these icefall doctors who builds highway for them to walk smoothly on those crevasse
Do theu drink alcohol during camping.
Better alternatives i'd save a beer for the celebration at the top! A Baileys with coffee (or vodka) might be good for a nightcap. Otherwise, at the extreme end, even a slight percentage drop in your coordination/ capabilities can have dramatic, significant and irrevocable consequences. Liken it to travelling at high speed a stone in the road or a slight deviation in handling can be fatal.
Did i just watched a 7min ad
softshell in winter is pretty useless
Fn hell
On October 14, 1996, the following message was posted on the Internet as part of a South African discussion forum about Everest: I am a Sherpa orphan. My father was killed in the Khumbu Icefall while load-ferrying for an expedition in the late sixties. My mother died just below Pheriche when her heart gave out under the weight of the load she was carrying for another expedition in 1970. Three of my siblings died from various causes, my sister and I were sent to foster homes in Europe and the U.S. I never have gone back to my homeland because I feel it is cursed. My ancestors arrived in the Solo-Khumbu region fleeing from persecution in the lowlands. There they found sanctuary in the shadow of “Sagarmathaji,” “mother goddess of the earth.” In return they were expected to protect that goddesses’ sanctuary from outsiders. But my people went the other way. They helped outsiders find their way into the sanctuary and violate every limb of her body by standing on top of her, crowing in victory, and dirtying and polluting her bosom. Some of them have had to sacrifice themselves, others escaped through the skin of their teeth, or offered other lives in lieu.... So I believe that even the Sherpas are to blame for the tragedy of 1996 on “Sagarmatha.” I have no regrets of not going back, for I know the people of the area are doomed, and so are those rich, arrogant outsiders who feel they can conquer the world. Remember the Titanic. Even the unsinkable sank, and what are foolish mortals like Weathers, Pittman, Fischer, Lopsang, Tenzing, Messner, Bonington in the face of the “Mother Goddess.” As such I have vowed never to return home and be part of that sacrilege.
sounds like the south is for Girls
Is there any kind of like beginners climb or less hazardousl climb on Denali? I really want to experience this mountain, but my balance is not perfect, so I wouldn’t want to act like I could go climb up the summit or anything.
Try Lobuche East or 3 Peaks in Nepal, or the Ecuadorian Volcanoes. Lots of info on our website.
