Hi! Did you remove the existing paint on the walls before spraying the mortar on? I would like to to a mortar skim coat on my basement walls but they are painted. Does this paint need removed first for the mortar can adhere? Thanks
Great job! It would be nice if you left links to the materials used. My opinion is that there is a high level of groundwater near this house, and if so, then this basement repair is a temporary matter. The reason may be in the drainage or sewer system.
😂😂 I keep laughing to myself while watching this video....just thinking to myself, "This guy ain't from Philly!!" Love the video and content though! I recommend just talking like you do normally in your everyday life...and I know this aint it! 😂 All love my man 👊🏻
Great job but I'm surprised having a open dirt floor you didn't dig down to the bottom of the footer and drill holes in the blocks and lay pipe/stones and send it to a sump and then pump it out.. Thats how I did my basement and its dry.
Nah son no no no! So basically you now have "at least a 10-in slab" of concrete, With a built-in French drain (I hope)..... It's one step up from being a giant shortcut! Your man can no longer stand up all the way in the basement without breaking light bulbs off!?!?!
This should be a regular show. Very interesting.
I wonder around how much a job like this cost.

Would you come to Warren Pennsylvania
What is retail cost on this project?
Is this required before framing and sheet rocking basement walls?
I recommend securing the foundation walls first
You're putting portland cement on stone walls?
With lime

I think the pronunciation of “cement” is incorrect. Please help me confirm this.

When you drill holes in the block the water goes into the French drain right ?
@@alexiscruel4009 yes, only way to remove water from blocks.
Perfect if you can sell it
I wish you had spent some time on how to fill in the stone.
Do you all do free estimates?
Yes we do
Please come and fix my basement walls.
Rubber roofing for Waterproofing
works great!
I’ve seen BUR used as tyvek in west Philly.
We use that shit for everything.
@@chriscolameco6850 BUR ?
New concrete needs water to cure and you ran a dehumidifier there to dry the wall, which is not so good for the concrere to cure properly.
How much was this job?
Affordable for the customer
25,000
Was that the real cost?
This is probably the
Owners house cause I would say this job is like $50-70.000
You should have talked the owner into replacing the whole staircase. They were way too steep.

If that downstairs is ever finished, You can subtract another 2 in from the ceiling! Come on guys!
I hope hobbits bought this place
And 5 in of freshly poured concrete without any kind of rebar?
Tens of thousands of dollars later
O be
You noticed they don't show anyone standing up in the finish project!!! Hahaha, You got a friendly smile but a disingenuine presentation!
Do you service Ohio?
