The funny thing is this was performed in Tallin Estonia. Most of the audience doesnt understand or speak Finnish but the band sings in Finnish and speaks to the crowd in Finnish but everyone are so hyped about it. Finnish and Estonian are brother languages and share some words but some words have totally different meanings between the languages. In general we just dont understand eachother :D
That’s true. In Estonia I always get understood when I say everything first in Finnish and then in Englilsh right aftewards. Some older people understand Finnish well because of the radio and tv. Anyway, I really like the real Estonians but not so much the loitering Russians around the ATM machines.
Elli has a phoenomenal stage presence, I always like when singers use facial expressions as well as body language in their performances and not just singing and/or playing.

Both are so good! Haloo Helsinki is one of the biggest bands in Finland nowadays. Elli Haloo, the singer, is so interesting singer. She sings so differently and pronounces words in a funny, interesting way. I love her voice and the presence that she has on stage. Thank you! I definitely hope you'll be doing more from them.

Funny to listen to a Finnish band being Finnish myself. However my primary language is English and I'm not listening nor much understand what she sings. It's kind of a noise among the music. I do enjoy Haloo Helsinki's music, some of it.
This is the essence of Finland and the finnish women. ❤️ Hard climate. Hard life. But we love it. That is the reason we are the happiest country in the world. Perseverance is the key.

saw them few years back in some folk music festival, much smaller stage and no pyro. they were great.
