I believe non kickstart packages come with both the xlr to 1/8" (mic to output) dynamic cable and the dual ended xlr (powered) cable. The new supplied mics are 48v and sound incredible, beyond what you are demonstrating. My "reviews of reviews" says that other amazon-level comparables feel like toys, where the m1 feels like a tool. An added benefit for me that nails this choice: ssince I run a website to help people grow their own protein raising Quail for profit - carefully placed blackout turns the Squarock mic into my "Squa k" or Squawk-mic. "You had me at hello". Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I will be referring our newbie quail business podcasters to your channel. ~USQuail - "feeding America one neighbor at a time"
It is a mystery to me how you do not have a million subs. I came looking for a way to cool my new GPU and wound up watching your vids all afternoon. Finally someone with solid technical knowledge who doesn't make everything sound too technical! As a casual gamer who can at least install his own peripherals, your approach to "those of you who don't want to crack open your case or take things apart" hits right in my PC sweet spot. Subscribed.

The Rodecaster is a serious beast, but if you can get all of the functionality for a third of the price, then you gotta consider your options.
I’ve been looking at the rode systems to partner with my BMD Atem Mini Pro but man…I’m just about features and this has them ALLLLLL! 🍪❤️🍪❤️🍪
Yeah, what I need to do is test a hard to power xlr mic with this to see if it has the gain to power it. 🍪🍪🍪
Sounds like the Mic needs to be replaced or the shock mount as it sounds vibrating when you speak.... But this looks nice.
Great product for beginners of podcasts and Live Stream, last thing you want to do is invest over 500.00 for a Rodecaster and then quit a few months later.
Big facts, I think if you get this to start and decide you want to upgrade down the line then you'll be doing it for the right reasons, not just buying something because "everyone else" got it.

Awesome video! I have a question hopefully you or someone else can help! I have the squarock commander m1 2 mic setup package I brought. I can hear phone calls via headphones connected to phone via aux/lightning jack or Bluetooth. I’m recording audio only podcast and can’t seem to figure out how to record a remote audio interview. I’m using a MacBook Pro, garage band, and m1 commander. Thanks for any help in advance!
How do you get the sound board and the computer in sync where I can hear it through my computer
You know, I got the diety mic and timecode synch bundle and it did NOT come with the cables needed. This is impressive to include it
That's definitely going to help out on them multicam interview shoots, but yeah they could at least throw some cables in at that price.

Yo that thing is really nice!!! I have the Rodecaster 1st gen and with the exception of a few bells and whistles this unit is hard to beat for the price!!!! Man I also need the name of those tracks bc they were 🔥🔥🔥 🍪🍪🍪🙏🏾☝🏾
I like how the phome (call) audio can be BT leaving the USB out for video, for video casting.
Hiya! Steve here from the UK. I could really do with your help with my M1 Commander, if you had any time available-a cheeky ask, I know! I am usually pretty good when it comes to audio set ups etc., but this has me beat! The M1 arrived last week and I have been trying to set it up using my Marantz MPM-1000 condensor mic. It sounds awful-muffled and crackly. The monitoring in the headphones is trerrible and the output, recorded to my iMac is just as bad. I have the phantom power enabled and have tried just about every combination of settings but to no avail! I have even tried connecting a lapel mic to the 3.5mm points but the result is the same. Maybe I have a dodgy piece of kit?! Any help would be SO much appreciated, my friend 🙂

Can someone help me recording sounds in PC through Squarock commander m1? My cubase software doesn't recognize this device at all.
Also while tried recording through audacity, the recording is not smooth/continued. It gets interrupted in between(total blank)
Does it record to the laptop or right to the sound card
So if you had to choose between this one and the maonocaster ame2 which one would it be. And why. Im in the market for one. Thanks bro.
