That's a cool story about how they saved that and other corn varieties. My whole crop got wiped out in tropical cyclone this year . Got to have another go next season
Brother, I have been watching your videos way too long. I pitch my yeast and nutrients like you 😂 I don't even mess with the table spoons or measuring equipment for my HTL and Gluco you have corrupted me 😂 I'm glad you cleared the air on the oil issue. I'm looking forward to trying the Jimmy Red. Thanks for all your videos. Shine on Brother
I've learned over the past few years of running all grain mash that the slower you run it the less oil carry over you have until you get into tails at least in my still
Great video! I'm curious, how much mash do you think it would take to get a quart or even a pint of shine from an air still.. been looking at getting one .. would love to see a video of you making corn liquor from mash on your air still.!
Did you say you run your thumper "dry" ??? As in nothing, not even water in there to cool the vapors? I only have a few runs under my belt with a thumper (had been 2x distilling prior), but I usually put feints from a same recipe as boiler charge in there.
Hey boss, I’m 100% new to this, I got a big family and we’re thinking bout getting a 40 or 50 gallon still from the Copper Still Co, anyway you’d be able to lead me in the right direction of everything I’ll need to learn & start
What’s you gonna charge me to give the info up on your supplier?…that or what would you sell me a 50lb bag for ??…actually for 5 50lb bags what would be the cost if I came and picked it up
I grew acres of jimmy red corn down here in Alabama. What do you mean? I use it for corn meal. You don't use it for shine. It's a field corn. I should learn you a thing or to. My shine is better than your's.
It's great to see you back making the shine again.
Great video!
I'm mashing in my Jimmy Red today!! I ordered from you! Nice to see this video!
Thanks for the Jimmy Red!!!

Last step, filter through activated charcoal for oilyness.
