Too bad it’s only FWD. With an interior and an exterior like that, if sold with AWD in the USA, it would probably do very well. That’s a very very advanced looking cockpit.

Could not help but notice the way some people make sweeping generalisations, not just about this car, but about the manufacturer, without ever having driven it. I did not realise, for instance, that it is a fact that Peugeot still can't build a decent car, according to Andrei M, implying that they never have. And they have probably never won a rally either, or a rally championship, or Le Mans, or Dakar, or Pike's Peak, or any Car of the Year awards either. Shame really.
This might be a Peugeot or opel or commodore worthy of my attention....psa bought opel, which was owned by GM who owned Holden who bought the current commodore from opel who was sold by GM to PSA who owns Peugeot.....
I'm French, and never been fond of french cars, I mean, Peugeot has got some reliability issues, and always has been "meh" in terms of design.. But those redesigns.. A coupe, with active suspensions, with 230hp, good fuel economy, cheaper than the competition while providing the same stats and above average options for the price, clearly my next car.
However good this car may be (I’m withholding judgement on that) Peugeot’s cliff like depreciation and a reputation for poor reliability is something they’ll will have their work cut out to beat.
From your statement you seem to be making my point. They’ve got their work cut out for them to beat the reputation they suffered from bad experiences by “narrow minded” persons like me. I’ve liked Peugeot’s (504’s, 404’s, 205gti’s) but probably am unlikely to buy one.
At least until the 3008 pops up. Here peugeots aint exactly affordable as it used to back then in indonesia (my cousin had a 206 when i was a kid when the price aint exactly breaking the wallet, my grandpa had a 505 and i had a 405) now the highly acclaimed 3008 cost u at least $54k (1.6T auto) brand new.

Stunning vehicle.. but that cabin audio is incredibly muffled.
Although this is a great car, in the UK at least it's a lot more expensive than class rivals.

Better than C class and giving E class a run. But who cares anyway, its still PSA Peugeot Citroen that makes interiors and body trims for Mercedes.
I don't know about mercedes interior quality but this car interior and exterior are far better looking than most, if not all, mercedes
should be priced around $30K for starter model . otherwise they;ll sell zero .

Over the last few years they have made some pretty reliable cars since the old 307 1st gens!!! So dont be so narrow minded!!

Somehow I'm not bowled over by the exterior...not all that good looking in my opinion. The interior is pretty decent though.
