she NEVER stated that it’s about that. but we can potentially found lgbt issues there. i think it’s more like a comforting song for all the shits that the 2 people she was referring in the song had to face

Seeing a lot of people love “ Hope ur okay” literally make me happy because this song is my favorite since in my opinion I think it’s the only song that not talking about love in the album. For people who never have experience in love before This song is so relatable to me and I think it also can relate to everyone.

I think Hope ur ok is such a great way to end the album bc despite the entire tracklist prior being about a romantic heartbreak, she ends it with talking about bigger problems and other people she loves and saying that this chapter of her life is only one of many. hiii i'm pretty sure she recently said in an interview that she wrote Happier while on set! And he had brought Sabrina to Salt Lake while they were filming (bring her around just to shut me down). She's a storyteller, right? So she weaves details and commonalities throughout the songs that are about the same topic. We know through the previous songs that he moved on quickly, she references that in Happier. So it's all about the same story. Every breakup track (so all minus jealousy, jealousy, brutal, hope ur ok) on Sour is about that specific relationship, and navigating the complicated and "sour" feelings that came with it!
