Nate Dogg is one of the most underrated musician. He was way more than a hook master, he brought a style of his own in the collabs and single work. Music and Me is probably the least know greatest album I ever listened to.
I hope you can open a portal into his career as you did with Pac. Even on TH-cam people usually listen only to the features, so you can build up this stuff.

The song he took that hook from is called "Close Than Close" by Atlantic Starr. I still think "Indo Smoke" and "Regulate" are some of his best tracks, as well as his vocals on "Ain't No Fun" on Doggystyle. Great reaction, man!

Im not a fan of Dax, Ive listened to one Dear God and loved it but tried a few more and stopped the recording, they are not connecting to me. And certainly nowhere even a little close to tracks like this....my word I wouldnt even say Dax name alongside Nate or real hip hop. Only in my opinion but I dont think youll see much Dax on this channel

Yes we are vibing with you and it was great to see you react to Nate's solo stuff. 🙂 The G Funk Classics Vol.1 & 2 is a 2CD set released in '98 and unfortunately it didn't get the attention it deserved back then. It was supposed to be released on Death Row but apparently there was legal troubles and it was never released under Death Row. When it finally came out I don't think there was very much 'major mainstream' promotion. And by '98 Nate was labelled as the 'hook/chorus' feature guy and in my opinion it overshadowed all of his amazing solo albums/music. So many great songs from that double disc and I also recommend that you react to Hardest Man in Town when you have time. Thanks (& one of my faves is First We Pray ft. Kurupt so can you also add that to your list?)
