@@Brema__Brema ok cool Thanks for answering indeed. I think while you guys did the pop ups it became extremely difficult to ship. I dig it. and Thanks again!
Great source of motivation. I recently found an old printer on market place and been struggling to get this project off the ground. Thanks for your unselfishness in teaching the craft🎉
I love your videos Brema, can feel the creative energy when I watch you guys work. Can you do a video on doing gradients perhaps, pretty please. Thanks for the awesome content.
I definitely found the way you were screen printing your t-shirts very interesting Brema , you think you can show us that setup? Thanks Brema for the content I appreciate everyone on the team as well 🙏🏽 God Bless
Oh man! That’s amazing what I like about your approach is how casual your being. I’ll definitely be watching I’ll have questions soon enough. Right now am just getting into the process of screen printing. Haven’t even gotten any equipment yet. Respect man One LoVe✌🏼
Im over here like “ i can do this at home” then boom one of the bros pulls out a damn laser and starts doing some wizardry shit 😂😂😂 Im like “ok i see why they got a whole studi” IM STILL DETERMINED TO LEARN BC THIS IS FIIIREEEE ❤️❤️❤️
when you first started screen printing and using flash dryer, how did you manage to use a flash dryer without shorting your circuit/power ? haha, im using a flash dryer for like 10min and it shorts the power
Hi bro I am far away from Germany please help me which of printer I should buy Epson 1430 or Canon prixma or which size is the best I need your advise OK please
Hey man you guys inspire me so much. Planning on starting my own thing soon. I hope I could reach out and get tips on running a brand. Love the work and videos. Keep it up
going through a tough time right now but your videos actually make my day. I tried to do halftones but it turned out murky, what frequency did you use for these bigger portraits? thanks brema
Love the low to the ground set-up! How do u manage to get such consistent prints? I have some halftone images that come out with streaks from overlapping pulls
How do you not get ink bleed on the other side of the screen? I feel like any time I print halftones with black ink I get really bad ink bleed and have to clean the underside of my screen after each print (which is very hard because it is black and just smears everywhere).
I've noticed some improvement with like about a nickle height of off-contact and switched my squeegee to the pull ergo style and that is helping with consistency. But eventually, the dots get larger and larger and lose detail and I have to clean off.. dot gain? I've read into it, gets complicated but I can see why you want the smallest dots possible to compensate for the enlargement of them to get into some kind of serial production.
What do you think the best way to cure ink is when youre doing this at home? Ive heard of people using irons but i feel like an oven would work? Idk any suggestions? Also thanks for putting out all this stuff man, such a great source of info
Use a heat gun to partially set the ink after printing, then put Teflon paper over the print and iron it with a hot iron for 3-4 minutes to cure the ink. ...Or buy a heat press. Oven would work, but it might be too hot and shrink your clothes. Cotton shrinks when it's hotter than 140F degrees.
Love the video! How does one get the legal rights to print a celebrity/famous person like that? If anyone can point me into the right direction, any info would help!
Depends on the ink, water based black is usually 300, while white plastisol is usually 110-160. Fabric matters too, some needs lots of ink (110), and some not so much (300). But if you want to make a shirt like Brema, 160-220 would work.
Depends on the ink. Water based ink you clean it with water, and degreaser. Plastisol you wipe up 99% of the ink with newspaper, then use an ink degrader (or olive oil) and paper towels to get the last 1%, then wash it with degreaser.
you do know it is illegal for you to be selling the frida bob and basquit shirts they are copyritten images and trademarked and you could be sued t's generally not permissible to print celebrity images on merchandise without authorization to do so. Business owners who use celebrity images on T-shirts without permission are potentially setting themselves up for a legal battle that could lead to a big payout to the celebrities involved. Unless you have the authorization, agreement, and contract with rights and limitations in doing so from the celebrity/ his/her management/agent, then you have no legal right to use and especially print and make sales off of a celebrity's image. and if there dead there family or the photographer owns rights to images just heads up homie you can lose all you have
The registration mark on Bob Marley is cool cuz he was a political activist and there were failed assassination attempts on him. So it’s like a gun reticle

hey Brema, what kinda hinge u using there to hold the screen to the board?? please it'd help me a lot. cheers
going through a tough time right now but your videos actually make my day. I tried to do halftones but it turned out murky, what frequency did you use for these bigger portraits? thanks brema
That happens because it's easy to over apply black, you want a smaller dot so less ink passes through, try 30dpi.

How did you get all those different shades while just using black ?

What mesh count is good for halftone?

160-220 it‘s inches right, because und europe we‘ve got like 72, 80…?

you pressure for that.
How can you legally sell clothing with peoples faces?
Only to know, i dont want to criticize but you can sell images of celebrities because you transformed the image in artwork?
Is that plastisol ink or waterbased
What size is the screen
180
What would you recommend is the best way to clean a screen after printing so it can be used again another day?
Depends on the ink. Water based ink you clean it with water, and degreaser. Plastisol you wipe up 99% of the ink with newspaper, then use an ink degrader (or olive oil) and paper towels to get the last 1%, then wash it with degreaser.
