Oh Maya this is beautiful! I'm not sure why so many people ask questions which are answered in the video or on the pattern. The multiple is 4+3. This should answer any sizing question for any yarn for any body type. The back will be as wide as the person wants and the two fronts will be half of that. The pattern also shows where to sew up and stop for arm holes. Couldn't be more clear or simple. Hopefully this helps answer questions for those who don't realize you're busy creating more beautiful free patterns and videos for us. I'm a relatively new crocheter and you've made this very easy for even me. Thank you.

Hi Maya, don't know where I went wrong with the measurements. Needed a size L, the foundation ch was 80, but its very wide , could there be a miscalculation in the ch foundation? I am watching the video. Time 25:37 thru 25:44 you talk about the length of one of the front pieces. To create it did you do foundation chain half the amount for the back and add 3 stitches like you did when you did the back?

I can't imagine this would fit well. The kimono doesn't have a neckline. Ii's easy to make one though. The stitch pattern is beautiful.
