- Today I tried the NEW Jujutsu Kaisen game; Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash to see if it's as bad as it looked. And... well it was but somehow I was able to have a lot of fun on it. Might be back for one more? Maybe?? I don't know lol. What do yall think?

It’s always gonna happen, especially when the ip is strong and the people who don’t care are the majority over those who do , so even if you find it bad there’s gonna be more people who enjoy it

@@Clashy69 Right. People swear that Budokai 3 is the first dragon ball game ever and that we’ve gotten nothing but BT2 and 3, Xenoverse 1 and 2, and FighterZ since then. Dragon Ball is the prototype, and it has had plenty of misses and hidden gems because people support the IP. This game is going in the hidden gem category because people are more worried about graphics/models than gameplay and fun.
@@Clashy69 I just played it , it’s ok at best but it’s lacking a lot of things , also to mention I realized after I stopped mashing the combos are done for you , hit the button 3 times and the game plays it’s self , it has no freedom whats so ever every little thing must be done so specifically an it kinda ruins the immersion imo. You can’t cancel out of mid combo once you attack your stuck so you can imagine what happens when you miss 😕 , the game isn’t smooth and not a lot of creativity

The thing that dissaspoints me is the ultimate animations, they are not bad per say, but they are underwelming to what thry could have been, in terms of gameplay its too soon to say

With how jjk fights are, it would've been way better to just ditch cinematic sequences all together and just weave the ultimate animation into the gameplay naturally to keep the flow of the fight goin.

The main problem I have with the game is the animations, they just...lack something. And the game definitely got hoed by whoever picked the art style for the models, yeesh.

They lack parts of the principles of animation and the models are pretty low quality. Doesn't necessarily make the game bad but when you have games like Storm and Budokai Tenkaichi, this is underwhelming.
The animations were better than the entirety of the new seven deadly sins movies

The attacks are cool but It is too floaty and the recovery from attacks is too slow
They have items in the shop to combat this and also binding vows if you do the online. Even with cpu. I've had no issues with it and I've been playing for a week straight. I enjoy it, I think the problem people are running into is because it is 2 v 2. It tried to be different from the rest of the anime games out there. Not hating on naruto storm because I like that too but that game has been the same for multiple games in a row, when broken bonds and rise of ninja were much better gameplay styles. JJK mightve be more fun in a gameplay like that or if they could pull it off an rpg style

@@giaikitg1933 MHA game was fun and Demon Slayer was very good but lacked enough gameplay variety to remain interesting long term. With the 2v2 setup, this game has far more room to provide intriguing gameplay over a longer period.

Both games died after like 3 months and barely had support within a year of release. Hell Jump Force isnt even purchasable. i dont think that either of those games were very good but thats just opinions. What isnt an opinion is that Anime arena fighters typically have no longevity because they lack any depth and are just made to capitalize off big IPs. 2v2 is not enough to carry this game they’d have to go crazy on updating it to maintain it. It absolutely could have potential to stay alive for awhile but when the only combos in this game are “repeatedly mash square” its gna get old quick. Casuals will enjoy it until people start getting sweaty and the fgc ppl wont enjoy it at all due to it’s repetitive nature and lack of depth. Its a broken record at this point. Look at any one of em. Steam charts says hinokami chronicles has 45 average players after only like 3 years and my hero had like 20 😭

They don't want hire a real fighting game developer again like they did with FighterZ because FighterZ was expensive. Arc System Works is not cheap. Their profile went way up in the last 6 years. I hope that Afro checks out the Rise of Ronin or Dragons Dogma 2 when they come out cause they both look like they have potential. Im more hyped for DD2 because in the recent gameplay reveal it showed the player using ice magic to make a pillar and then ran up it and attacked before it disappeared.
Edit: im nervous for Helldivers 2 mainly because there's no set story and the fact that there might not be matchmaking.

i was never bothered by the graphic's or cutscenes like many people but hardly do i nitpick at games mostly. i know it isn't ultimate ninja storm or demon slayer but either way i enjoy it regardless with some future updates and future patches I'll say it'll be pretty okay throughout the months I'm sure they'll have some updates in the future

When you’re playing Inumaki the bar on the left goes down when you use cursed speech and it doesn’t regen naturally. To get it back you have to drink medicine which is apart of his kit.
i dont know if anyone else felt this way but the game felt unfinished the menus were kinda lazy with the background just being the season 1 opening and the character select screen being just a list of names. i hope with updates and stuff it gets better
I haven't played yet but this gameplay kind of reminds me of JStars Victory and personally I absolutely loved that game

I'm ngl, I'm having an insane amount of fun with this game... It's pretty much all I've been playing, like yeah the multiplayer needs some work, and the game COULD be so much better, but I think it's overhated underrated tbh. When/if they improve online stutter which is already really not bad might I add, but if one person lags everyone does and that's annoying, then I think the game will be in really good shape for them to just build on with little things

I know I’m one of the few ppl who actually enjoy arena fighters like this one, but I don’t think this game is actually that bad. But much like the last arena fighter these devs worked on, the game is just lacking in certain ways that hold it back. Maybe I need to play it first.

Imo They should have made it like burning blood . Instead of devil fruit abilities ,swap for cursed energy so you can mix basic atk that do no damage by just tapping ability button ….And if one’s really lucky rare occasions timing CE with an atk rewards you with a black flash.

Tbh, i really dont think arena fighters are an issue, but mofos NEED to figure out how tf to design them AND KEEP UP WITH BALANCING. I mean just look at Tekken, its definitely a different style of game, but it utilizes the 3rd dimention for combat and its been wildly successful, I think the mechanics just need to be tighter and polished better, also ACTUALLY making use of environments for something other than just cover for long ranged moves that you dont need line of sight for

I think a lot of people criticisms really stem from the lack of content for $60. It’s really fun after you understand what you’re really supposed to be doing but I think $60 is a little steep. Definitely worth the buy if it goes on sale though

Afro is notorious for picking up games and expecting to be good at it off jump, his ego also takes a hit if he does the tutorial or reads any info about gameplay. Like it took him talking to the highest rated ranked player to learn where the CE meter was or how to do a joint attack or a even launch people. Stop falling for this shit! The only games Bandai-Namco ever gave any real attention to is Tekken and Dragon Ball FighterZ. Why? Because the developers for those two games were actual fighting game developers with extensive experience and catalog. Namco was making Tekken before the merged with Bandai. And Arc System Works were making fighting games before Bandai-Namco hired them to make DBFZ.

This game has good ideas it's like you have a steak that's cooked right, seasoned right. Yet you cut into it and then it's funky they have some legit interesting 2v2 concepts that are fire.

Best thing they could have done for this game is make the arenas way bigger and add a lot more destruction to buildings/environments. No cinematics, make it fluid. They really really could have just kept the graphics the same.
