New cycle lanes are about to be built from Foot of the Walk along Great Junction Street, down Henderson Street, Sandport Place and Dock Street.
This route is incorrectly named "Foot of the Walk to Ocean Terminal". The route construction actually halts at the end of Dock Street, leaving users to cycle this last section of Commercial Street and Ocean Drive amongst traffic, until the funding and implementation of a further project known as Leith Connections Phase 3.
