The Alien is called Roger, he enjoys dressing up and wearing wigs. And has a weird ability, where we the audience can see he is an alien but the non-main cast characters (and at times the main cast too) see him as a human, unless the wig comes off, then his disguise no longer works.

Super speed Doesn't need air/can survive in vacuum of space or underwater Clairvoyant (at least temporarily) Superhuman durability (spaceship crash test dummy, survived being vivisected) Basically immortal (1600+ years old). Physical regeneration (both natural and via a "alien" ointment) Hyper intelligence to create a rifle from gum, a few sticks and a rock. Can reproduce asexually when overwhelmed with workload (Rogu) through a sort of warped mitosis. Memory absorption via anal probing Can create temporary rainbows out of what is most likely urea. Can travel into dreams and allow dream entities to enter the real world. Defecates gold and precious metal turns that make humans obsessed with them to the point of making them kill for it. and a lot more.

Stan tries running away, but he hits his head on a lamp and is knocked out. Before the grenades go off, Roger pushes Stan’s body down a laundry chute and the two of them escape the facility. Having saved his life, Stan allows Roger to live with him in his attic for free in return. Since then, Roger has become an integral part of the Smith family. He can only leave the house in disguise because Stan works at the CIA, and they would kill him and his family for harboring him. That said, Roger’s a master of disguise and his personas range from the normal to dysfunctional (it’s usually the latter), and even animals.

I remember one time being so overmedicated I had a dream that I ripped my IV out, tried to leave, had to be restrained by security, and had to be held down while they put the IV back in. Woke up the next day to be told, not a dream. I really did that. I didn't believe it until 4 people confirmed it. They released me later the same day.
When he said rhabdo, he meant rhabdomyolysis. It's a breakdown of the muscle tissue that releases protein. The protein is what damages kidneys. It's no joke.

It's so funny I stumble upon this on the 21st anniversary of American Psycho being released. That's what the scene with Roger and the kidney was semi referrring to! Your reactions are hilarious, I love seeing people's first views of things like this
I remember having strep throat once and my brain was so cooked that I was having the most intense fever dream where I was 100% convinced I was the president of the united states and I had to reset the social balance of things by setting off tactical earthquakes with nukes. I'd periodically wake up and say "I know, I know, I'm the president! I'm handling it!" Before passing right back out into the continued dream. I felt SO MUCH BETTER when that damn fever broke. Took me two weeks to shake that one off, and another to get my voice back after it broke for some reason and I couldn't speak louder than a whisper for anything.
You should see the video where they show how Rogers organs look he even has some eyes super speed power honestly the doctors on his planet must be impressive

In case you didnt know, the whole kidney scene description was a refference to the movie American Psycho. The kidney part was just the set up, but the plastic, the music, the dancing. All taken from the movie.
Don't forget that Roger's physiology is totally different from that of a human. There are scenes where he loses limbs only to regrow them like a lizard regrowing its lost tail.
Just a suggestion. When you talk over the cartoon as it’s still playing WHILE there’s also background music, it’s kind of distracting lol for the next one can you pause the video and then talk that way we can focus on what you’re saying and you don’t feel like you have to rush to continue watching? You don’t have to obviously. Just a suggestion ☺️
Is it weird as a cardiac monitor tech (the one who reads those heart monitors) that every time i watch a medical show or cartoon i look at the monitors and often get annoyed when they aren't accurate? =P
@@DoctorER Yeah Casualty and Holby City are long running British hospital dramas so it would be great to see an American doctor react to them. FYI Casualty did a Covid episode that was highly acclaimed and very emotional which I recommend.

My mother has been going through lung rejection for more than 3 years maybe. She has been needing a double lung transplant but it’s been taking so long. We waited about 9 years for her first one lung transplant. Now she needs a double lung transplant and I hope it doesn’t take about 9 years again. I remember hearing something about her antibodies being extremely high or sensitive which is why there hasn’t been a match for her yet. In more explainable words my mom has Emphysema, I don’t know why they transplanted just one lung a not both during the first transplant (which was the right lung). As of now she’s pretty much surviving off of the right lung that’s going through rejection. Her left lung has inflated so much it has pushed most of her organs to the right and bent her esophagus. They tried planning other surgeries to help like the valves but I think they said she has either to much blood supply in that lung or to much CO2 trapped in. In shorter words my mother needs a double lung transplant. Left lung pretty much not even functioning anymore and the right being squished and going through rejection. Wow this is a lot of words that are probably not even necessary but around 5:30 is when Mike was talking about Rejection and that made me think of my mom and idk….I just….felt like sharing that story?
I'm surprised that the doctor wasn't questioning Roger's alien biology when he had his heart attack. He's a sort of reverse ET where he gets healthier when he's being judgemental and bossy to others.
I've read articles that some electric therapy is still used but is rare and apparently has actually helped some patients. Whether it's placebo or not is another question.
9:50 that's not a lobotomy. A lobotomy procedure goes as such: 1) electroshock therapy to render the patient unconscious, 2) you take an ice pick looking tool and a hammer (that you can pick up at the local hardware store), 3) insert the ice pick into the eye socket above the eye and press against the incredibly thin layer of bone. A few taps and you'd break right through, 4) scrape away the bone and repeat with the other eye. Congratulations you just completed a lobotomy! Which was a practice in the 19th and early the 20th centuries more common than most would like to admit.

9:50 that's not a lobotomy. A lobotomy procedure goes as such: 1) electroshock therapy to render the patient unconscious, 2) you take an ice pick looking tool and a hammer (that you can pick up at the local hardware store), 3) insert the ice pick into the eye socket above the eye and press against the incredibly thin layer of bone. A few taps and you'd break right through, 4) scrape away the bone and repeat with the other eye. Congratulations you just completed a lobotomy! Which was a practice in the 19th and early the 20th centuries more common than most would like to admit.
