he’s killing it with all the videos so glad you decided to make more videos. your opinions are so insightful and entertaining at the same time. would love to see a q&a of sorts where we can ask your thoughts on certain things!!!
Its so nice to hear you mention running, it has been a great help for me for such a long time and i always suggest people to just try it because its amazing genuinely how good it is for you, its impossible to be in a bad mood at the end of a run i feel
Bruh I always try to get my friends to run, a couple of them have and they both really like it. I know people hate hearing it suggested but it's so easy to pick up and helps a ton
That’s the best thing to hear thank you, I want the content to be good, not just the whispering. Just out of curiosity, if I made another channel w normal spoken vids on stuff would you be interested
First video of yours I’ve seen and you’re really well spoken man. I’m 24 and this hit. it’s not so easy to be happy with yourself as a young guy these days. Will be tuning in regularly, great work
Really wanna thank you for being open about your mental health journey. I recently started therapy, but still find it difficult to be vulnerable and share my feelings and thoughts with others. A lot of what you said in this video resonated with me and made me feel less alone. I hope you’re proud of yourself for the progress you’ve made/continue to make everyday. I personally didn’t really notice a difference in the sound quality, so if the lo-fi setup is more comfortable I think you should keep it up!
Thank you for sharing, and good job getting started! It’s intimidating at first, I’d say just be patient and do your best, in my experience, some of my biggest lessons have taken months, even years, to learn from sessions. Showing up and trying to get better is all you can do and it’ll work if you stick with it And I think Lofi is good too
Staying off the phone is such a hard habit to break. Our brains are addicted to the stimulation we get from using it. Im so glad you were able to make these changes and feel the positive effects ❤
Highly related to the therapy part. When I mentioned my experience going to therapy, many friends would consider, in that period of time, my life being so miserable or tragic, which was completely not that case. I just need somewhere safe and cozy and someone more professional to share my confusions. That's it. Love your honesty and openness to share your thoughts. Many asmrists have soft voices, but it's uncommon to see someone share their emotional feeling or true thoughts. Also love the lofi setup. I actually don't mind which mic you uses, your content is relaxing enough. Choose whatever you like.
Truly such a relatable video! I have thought about every one of the points you’ve made in this video but just don’t quite have the will power to execute quite yet!!
@@jacobdreamsasmrI honestly don’t know. I’ve been really intentional on spending time doing activities that I enjoy without a screen (gardening, sewing, painting, etc). Unfortunately, I’ve grown up in the era of social media 🥴 so it’s going it’s just a natural response for me to subconsciously just open my social media.
i see how you don't try to breathe into the mic. it's okay to breathe tho. don't want you to be trying to holding your breath in for minutes and minutes lol!! i love your ASMR!!!💗💗💗
🙂I appreciate your honesty and simplicity with us. Thanks for sharing more about you as it's helpful to those who struggle with similar life experiences. If there's something I dislike is when people are always positive... This isn't realistic at all, and it doesn't show your true self. I don't know if this would be a correct sentence, but: "I believe it's more authentic to be darker than shinier." I hope everybody had a great weekend!😆
That’s a great quote, I’d be lying if I said I’m always optimistic about stuff. But I do also wanna be the person who can uplift others and be a good source of energy, so sometimes it’s hard to try and be that guy while still letting myself have off moments
I feel the comparison thing a lot as someone in young 20s, being the youngest at my job I feel inferior to others or if I’m not doing as much as them but I discredit what I do
😔This is exactly me. It's as bad as you can imagine. Although I don't think I'll ever get rid of social media completely, I had to stop following my previous classmates and/or relatives whom I perceive to be more successful than me because I can't stand it and it's for my own sanity. I've had depression for as long as I can remember, and social media is a downward spiral when it comes to this unfortunately. But the issue with this is that you'll never be happy if you only think about what others do instead of focusing on yourself. You should always wish well to other people, and this is something I'm really trying to improve, but it's way harder said than done. The only takeaway here is to keep yourself busy and if you have mental health issues, DO NOT use social media! Suicide is real, and there's no need to go to that extent.☹
For some reason the past month or two the inferiority stuff has been killing me. The best thing I’ve done so far to stop it is do more of the stuff I’m good at and enjoy. But even still I have my days
Know what you mean about the reading for more talking skills and you're right. I have also noticed many words that are what I call generational or fashion words that are overused: "literally" "absolutely" "genuinely" "legit" "authentic" Pisses me off how much these are used today 😂 Someone said it but comparison really is the thief of joy and I only just learned that too. Good video and other points and subjects you mentioned were interesting 😊 Oh and I cant believe you are only 23!
Whenever I hear myself using those words I get so frustrated w myself bruh. It makes me feel pretentious but I just wanna have a wider range of words and phrases. It also makes it easier to get points across. Thank you for watching!
I understand all too well about the “constantly progressing” pressure. I live with a lot of guilt for not pushing myself to the potential I know I’m capable of, but I never thought I’d live this long if that makes sense😅
I think you just gotta show up every day and be patient with yourself. And if that's not the answer then I have no idea bruh. And you're right, being grateful for making it this far puts it all into perspective too
You’re such an eloquent and well spoken young man 🫶🏻 I finally deleted instagram for good about 5 months ago and I cannot express the extent of how freeing it feels. I feel so much more present and living for me now💛
so happy to see all the new content!!
Biggest quote that helped me with comparing myself: Comparison is the thief of joy
You wrote what I was going to x
This is exactly what I've been wanting for an ASMR channel, content that stands up on it's own but just make it ASMR

I'd listened to your rambles before to sleep but this one was so real I listened to the whole thing 😅 Ty for always being so open ☺️
