Just remember: CGI The Rock wasn't in The Scorpion King, CGI The Rock was in The Mummy Returns as the Scorpion King, and The Scorpion King was a prequel explaining how Regular The Rock became CGI The Rock. The Scorpion King: The Game's decision to have you play as CGI The Rock is wildly inaccurate to the canon.

Ok, I know its a bad game but I enjoyed the hell out of it. I remember on the weekends my dad was free, I would set up the GameCube and my dad would sit and watch me play it. Sure it's more the memory that makes this game good to me but none the less, I had fun.
Fun fact: David Hayter was also a screenwriter on the first two X-Men movies.

I played this on a gamecube without a memory card failed on the last level , Then replayed the whole game. Oof what is my life.

Hayter didn't direct Scorpion King, but he sure did co-write the screenplay, Chuck Russell directed it, he's famous for The Mask, The Blob 1998, and Eraser.
The movie Hayter made was "Wolves", with Mamoa, Lucas Till, and... Jennifer Hale?! That's surprising.
Oh, that Henry Cavill 300 rip-off movie was called "Immortals", I should know, I saw that shit once.
I owned, played, AND beat this game when I was a tiny babby boy.

My local Wal-Mart still sells the Wii version of The Mummy Dragon Emperor. Even better, its like 25 bucks.
Remember when Triple H was supposed to be the new Conan? What would that shitty movie tie in game have been like? Especially since HHH wouldn't be allowed to be seen as weak in game...
I've checked, and the Scorpion King series apparently ended with its 5th movie, in 2018. That means, the extended Mummy 1999 Universe outlived the Universe of its 2017 reboot.
Reno Romaro was my favorite Spider-Man voice. I think it's a crime he still hasn't voiced the webhead in a proper animated flick.

I know I'm 2 years late on this, but that movie you were thinking about towards the end was Immortals. I have it on Bluray, and it was a guilty pleasure of mine. I'm still bummed that they never made a sequel.

I would recommend the Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon video game (on the PS2 and maybe some others) for a one-off on this channel. The combat is a bit janky and takes a little bit to get used to, but it's a lot of fun once you get accustomed to it. :D
There is a treasure planet video game where you're on his wing board the whole game. Not sure if I would call it bad but I would love to see you give it a look.

I agree that The Rock's early film work wasn't the best in acting in charisma on screen but an outlier in my opinion was his role in be cool with John Travolta I thought he was pretty fun and naturalistic in that one but that could be just good direction

On the topic of The Mummy universe games, one cannot forget the actually really good The Mummy Demastered by Wayforward, the only good piece of legacy that the shitty Mummy reboot movie had.
I used to have the GBA version and it was kinda fun :> this one (i also had) wasn't so good, and i was confused at why two games that were called the same were so different :O
