I used to work with Lamorne back in the early 2000s when we served food at Ed Debevics, which was a 60s themed diner in the Chicago suburbs. He’s an awesome guy and made working there a ton of fun. I’m so happy to see he’s doing so well!

New Girl is one of my favorite shows.

I haven't watched a whole lot of Call Me Kat (as a 38 year old single female who has never been married, it is a bit too relatable LOL) but New Girl is a must see. I love that show. Lots of humor and great characters.
New girl is one of the best comedy shows out there probably in the last 20 years.
So obsessed with this podcast. I love the topics, the intelligent conversation, and all of the guests have been so top quality. Such a fan of Lamorne! And so impressed continually with Mayim.

For someone who grew up believing the ideal was blond/blue eyed (not me); I was so proud when my daughters' favorite toys (self chosen) were dolls of color. I feel so blessed that my children live in a more enlightened diverse world, may it continue to grow in that direction.

To you all basketball fans, I had the opportunity to watch all the games and some trainings of the US basketball “Dream Team ‘92” at the XXV Olympics of Barcelona. Watching live together Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Karl Malone, Magic Johnson, Charles Barkley, Pat Ewing, Larry Bird, John Stockton, Chris Mullin, etc..was such INCREDIBLY FABULOUS experience to me as a basketball fan and humbly player ar school and University at my Barcelona! 🏀♥️

The realization in this episode that most adults are operating without adequate emotional maturity is, to me, at the heart of why our world is still struggling after millennia of so-called progress. This concept plays a central role in the yoga tradition. Mayim and Jonathon, you both often touch on other concepts that have their roots in yoga. Thanks for a great show.

I’ve listened to you speak to many intelligent insightful people on here and Lamore may be the most insightful one. I love the example Lamore used about autistic youth. “…they don’t think you’re autistic, they think you’re crazy…” He hit on a truth about abused and marginalized communities AND a truth about autistic people (they are NOT crazy but autistic and it’s not the same thing).

Although joining organizations are so helpful for education, wouldn’t it be freaking nice if they weren’t needed?! Pollyanna alert! But if we lived our lives as decent humans in the now …wouldn’t that move us forward to some semblance of equality?! I loved hearing the validation that it’s good to SEE color. I see it because that is part of who people ARE! We’re complex and I love that in all. A interesting human and conversation! Also, love the conversation about life coaches. As a not US citizen nor resident, but as a person all her life supporting Human Rights and Justice, I’ve had and still has my soul troubled by all that went and still goes at BLM, black community and gratuitious violence that is stll stablished at society. Not only yours. It’s against black people, queer people, women…to all “the different”. As is the structural racism that lies in all societies when the fear of the different and the fear of loosing power rises and feed it. As a good Jewish friend once told me “A Jew is always contemptously reminded that he’s a Jew”…and I answered him “as a Catalan in Spain, my friend”. At the end, it’s always fear of loosing power over the other. Always. Along with an absolute lack of empathy, and as Jonathan says, is about a not trained emotional intelligence too.
Said that, as a CMK fan, how I adore Mayim and Lamorne swifting from deep thoughts to goofy laughts about on CMK set hilarious moments. So energizing!!! 💜

Hearing that he doesn't agree politically with his therapist but it's okay really helped me. I need one but I'm really afraid because I'm in a rural conservative area and I'm... not. This gives me hope that there might actually be someone in my area that can help me anyway 🥺🙏❤🏳️🌈
