    I got 700 down from 5 feet away running in AP mode with a MoCA 2.5gb back haul. I get 350-550 down from 10-50ft. The variations seem to depend up how many this are connected and actively streaming combined with distance, interference from neighboring Wifi.

      Yup. That’s WiFi for you 🤷‍♂️

    Can it broadcast the same SSID as the indoor router to create a mesh network? And does that router also have to be TP-Link or can it be any other brand of router?

      Same ssid, same password, different channel.

    Nice video. Had one of these for probably 6 months. Perhaps longer, forgot when I got mine. Use it outside in my father's shop.

    Great video. Surprising results with the 5ghz

      Extremely weird. If it did work the bandwidth was terrible. But for me most of the time I wasn’t able to maintain a connection

    Great video. Have you taken into consideration that the EAP610 probably cannot "hear" the laptop's wispers at those distances even if you measure great signals from the EAP610? :)
    "The signal from AP is strong but the AP is at the edge of the coverage area of the laptop."

      Not really, but it was odd that on 5GHz it worked better.

    This could be a good solution to getting better network to my shop instead of doing direct bury CAT6. That way, I can mount it directly on the external wall if the house. It would only be a 30-40ft distance for connection after that.

    • @SPXLabs
      @SPXLabs  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Could be. But it could be better

      @@SPXLabs the 30-60mps would be more than enough for what I need in my shop. The price isn't too bad either.

    Hello great video, ive been thinking on buying one of these, but i never seen one working on a 1gbps speed, is it posible to achive that speed, since i have hired a 1gbps speed internet, i have only seen half of that speed on the videos on youtube thanks in advance!!

    • @SPXLabs
      @SPXLabs  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It might be possible but you would have to be right next to the Access Point. If you want as close to 1G speeds you should look at a WiFi6E capable access point instead.

      It's omnidirectional but you have to consider what it is mounted too.

      I honestly don’t know but if I had to guess it’s probably better at 180° than 360°. Based solely off of the way it’s designed
