I got 700 down from 5 feet away running in AP mode with a MoCA 2.5gb back haul. I get 350-550 down from 10-50ft. The variations seem to depend up how many this are connected and actively streaming combined with distance, interference from neighboring Wifi.
Can it broadcast the same SSID as the indoor router to create a mesh network? And does that router also have to be TP-Link or can it be any other brand of router?
Great video. Have you taken into consideration that the EAP610 probably cannot "hear" the laptop's wispers at those distances even if you measure great signals from the EAP610? :) "The signal from AP is strong but the AP is at the edge of the coverage area of the laptop."
This could be a good solution to getting better network to my shop instead of doing direct bury CAT6. That way, I can mount it directly on the external wall if the house. It would only be a 30-40ft distance for connection after that.
Hello great video, ive been thinking on buying one of these, but i never seen one working on a 1gbps speed, is it posible to achive that speed, since i have hired a 1gbps speed internet, i have only seen half of that speed on the videos on youtube thanks in advance!!
It might be possible but you would have to be right next to the Access Point. If you want as close to 1G speeds you should look at a WiFi6E capable access point instead.

Yup. That’s WiFi for you 🤷♂️

Same ssid, same password, different channel.
Did you find out what was best @steve-oh?
Nice video. Had one of these for probably 6 months. Perhaps longer, forgot when I got mine. Use it outside in my father's shop.
Great video. Surprising results with the 5ghz
Extremely weird. If it did work the bandwidth was terrible. But for me most of the time I wasn’t able to maintain a connection

Not really, but it was odd that on 5GHz it worked better.

Could be. But it could be better
@@SPXLabs the 30-60mps would be more than enough for what I need in my shop. The price isn't too bad either.
Oh yeah then I agree

@@SPXLabs Thanks ill look for one of those
Would love to see ruckus unleashed access points. The ruckus outside access point is crazy 🔥
Feel free to let them know on social media. Otherwise I doubt they will contact me
Nice 🙂👍🏻
Well done video, thanks!
How directional is it?
It's omnidirectional but you have to consider what it is mounted too.
direccional or omni direccinal?
I honestly don’t know but if I had to guess it’s probably better at 180° than 360°. Based solely off of the way it’s designed
Thanks.
Welcome to SPX Labs, I love you.
Is this 1gig POE or 2.5 gig poe Injector !!
While I can’t say for certain, I’m willing to bet it’s 1GbE
@@SPXLabs its 1gig :) i looked :). good video man !!
well, i guess they lie alot on their website then. 300+ meters , yea sure
may ligowave dlb 2-90 can reach 150-200meters... what a crap tplink
هههههههههههه 😂😂😂
SCRAP TPLINK EAP610, waste of money, no ssid found in my phone... please don't buy that tplink... ISSUE, after 2weeks, SSID disappear....
where are from?
You and @RaidOwl are my go-to channels for networking. Great stuff.
Yeah he is legit. Great jokes. Just a heads up, I’m not the most network savvy person out there! I need to learn a lot about networking.
@@SPXLabs Everyone isn't going to know everything. And that's ok. I like your content because of how you simply everything. Keep up the great work.
