While this is a great custom mod, the weight of the screwdriver handle will cause extra wear on the key (which is why you shouldn't use lots of keyrings and keychains). Possibly using a smaller driver would work better.
I learned many years back that if you put a spare switch key in your pocket you won't lock your keys in your car, must be something psychologic about it.

Cool, i love screwing with people but there may be a downside to this. Most ignition locks are not meant to carry so much weight. This could cause problems with continued use in the future. BUT . . . Cool as hell !

You can always take a mini screwdriver, pull the shaft out, and cut into it for the key. That'd be plenty light, and still be a screw driver.
