Hm... The channel logo is a set of antlers, which is not a spindown die. As someone’s who’s played mtg for about 13 years I was super excited to see the new dnd set. Even more excited to see you guys play it tho :) that was a fun episode
So... First : epic job this video is fantastic. Now for the ~ahem~ Magic The Gathering part: Nixie has 11 lands, seems to put a *Grim bounty* in her hand. Untaps, draws (!!!! first red flag : it was Evandra's turn so Nixie is playing a turn twice!!!) Then ,she plays the card she drew: another *Grim Bounty* (4) . Its blurry but you can recognize the card. Then rolls a dice (?), then plays *Hulking bugbear* (3), a *Baleful Beholder* flies around but doesn't seem to be played, plays *Contact Other Plane * (3), roll s a 5, draws 2 cards. Then plays *You Come the Gnoll Camp* (2), Bugbear gets +3/+1 now a 6/4 with haste. Then Plays *Greataxe* (1) and equips the Bugbear (5) who is now 10/4. uses *Treasure token* to add 1 mana. *Mimic* card flies by, probably the one killed by *Grim Bounty* and THEN plays not one, not two, but THREE *Farideh's Firefall* for (3x15 mana). Her hand is now then empty meaning that she must have used her second *Grim Bounty* (4) on something, so we will give her one more treasure token.. So... 11 lands+ 2 treasure tokens to play 36 mana worth of spells (1 fireball overkill but OK. QUESTION : WHAT 2 CARDS DID NIXIE DRAW TO GENERATE 23 MANAS THE SAME TURN?! I suspect she has the same technique at Go Fish...
My theory is confirming : at 3:40 Nixie has 3 fireballs she throws up in the air but 5 cards come falling down on the Marquis! And at 5:38 Nixie enflames 4 cards and 6 fall! It seems like Nixie is making her own luck!
hahahaha, my wife has just started learning mtg and she said so many of the same things that were brought up in this episode XD another super fun vid :D
I rewatched this and this time paused to read each of the Magic cards. I'm impressed by their effects, and the new art style on some of them is amazing. Like the Adventure Module appearance for Cave of the Frost Dragon. As a collector, I can see those becoming very valuable.

Would you say it's a... deck of many things?
Why did I immediately think of the witcher game? Geralt to literally every npc: how about a game of gwent? (cards)
Antrius isn't ready yet to come out of the closet.
He needs a bit more time to have an open relationship with the Marquis.
As someone’s who’s played mtg for about 13 years I was super excited to see the new dnd set. Even more excited to see you guys play it tho :) that was a fun episode
Captain Cabinets, losing Tiamets. Will they play card? Will they win bard? Course they wont!
Iconic.
It seems like Nixie is making her own luck!
hahahaha, my wife has just started learning mtg and she said so many of the same things that were brought up in this episode XD
another super fun vid :D
I rewatched this and this time paused to read each of the Magic cards. I'm impressed by their effects, and the new art style on some of them is amazing. Like the Adventure Module appearance for Cave of the Frost Dragon. As a collector, I can see those becoming very valuable.
Late, but 'D&D' art styles tend to be worth a lot less than the standard card designs.
I've had to look at so many MtG Wikis to get the German subtitles correct.
Deerstalker crew and MTG, Two of my favourite things combined.
Absolutely brilliant episode 🤩🤩🤩.
I thought Antrius came out of the closet a long time ago.
I relay enjoyed that commercial ;) and as a DD and MTG player i strongly recommend this channel!
It's hard to have characters in more than one episode. Everyone dies.
Nixie's deck: Fireball 4x, Inferno 4x, Disintegrate 4x, Wall of fire 4x, Mountain 40x 😁
2 girls and 1 cup and ball
0:49 "I think I've almost mastered Go Fist."
Yep! Sounds about right for all for 1! :)
He could've just given our heroes the most shit deck possible while giving himself all the illegal cards. Or just lie about the rules.
professionals have standards.
"i destroy your bard with my lighting spear"
Isn't that the guy that was fucking antreus in an earlier episode btw?
Hmmm yes, i bet you do a lot of things to the bard with that spear.
Listen, you can capture Antrius and enclose him inside a wardrobe but steal Nixie's ball and cup... That's intolerable, sir.
as a magic the gathering semi-pro player and fan of this content
im so happy you mixed it up!!! =) congratS!
Wow, with the sound off this looks incredible !!!!
Damn the all for 1 crew playing Magic's Adventures in Forgotten Realms with Yugiohesque actions .
Astounding XD.
Love it! Great as always! (I am ALSO excited for the Forgotten Realms Magic the Gathering set!
The complete inability to block is hilarious
Great video! The only thing that was a bummer was playing with unsleeved cards!
That was probably Richard Garfield's sales pitch: "It's like go fish, with a few extra steps"
That LOTR reference " come and claim him" :O
So glad to see this as an MTG commercial. Buying a box to draft specifically for this commercial. Here that wizards?
"It's like Go Fish with a few extra steps" I swear I almost passed out
Magic The Gathering: Go Fish with extra steps.
Is this the card game version of "Every Pokémon move is just Dig with extra steps"?
This entire comedy act was an ad…..well done this is how it should be, I couldn’t have seen it coming and it was fun to watch ❤
Best ad I’ve ever seen. Super entertaining. I might actually get into Magic this time
An amazing video showcasing an amazing idea. I applaud Wizard of the Coast for combining Forgotten Realms with Magic the Gathering...
With Fireballs in hand, she didn’t put them out right away? Incredible!
