I generally load test the 24 with a H1 bulb after voltage checks, and meter or scope the CAN. Generally confirms when the sensor has died.

Hi sir, thanks for your videos, I was hoping you could tell me if you can do the NOX sensor evaluation test on the Jaltest machine? Or is it a Daf exclusive test? Thanks in advance

Thanks for the subscription, in going to be doing more basic content in the future that will hopefully work out quite well basic diagnostics of components.
As for recommending a affordable diagnostic tool I feel you will be frustrated by the lack of functionality on the cheaper units. I'm yet to find a Amazon unit that 100% works with DAF.
Your best best would possibly be get freindly with a local garage that uses jaltest or Texa (8 grand+ multi fleet tools) or a mobile technican who will come and do the initial plug in for you to tell you what's wrong with it from there you could do your own Diagnosis and repair

Has anyone had issues with fitting NEW after market sensors, from what I have heard it's after the trucks have had ECU updates etc.? Would be interesting to hear back

Hey thanks for the comment 👌😎
Big thing from DAF is not to use aftermarket sensors as apparently they don't last and I know we don't supply or use them here. So many different types of them 😅 be interesting to see if anyone has had any issues also 😃

We used some Dinex ones couple year ago on 15 plate e6 CF, all came back with a code related to the CVN number not acceptable. DAF OE now we use.

what does the U1850 error mean after installing a new original sensor (part number 2139930)? The previous sensor had a short circuit and the fuse was blown.

      @TRUCKTECHUK  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

Hey, thanks for the comment. The fault code starts with "U" which is a communication issue.
This fault is attributed to software verification. usually from non-GENUINE sensors or incorrect parts.

    Hey bro good jobe man
But too bad I don't have a DAVIE tool
    I'm using JALTEST
    I HAVE TO ASK YOU
I have a daf euro 6 cf 400 and it show on my diagnostic tool crankcase error
So I replaced it with a new one ...but the one on the truck is from factory it have a different filter in it ...and the dealer here give me a different one ..so I look it up and understand that factory replaced it with a new design and I understand that I have to do some new modification on in the engine by taking of the oil pan
The original model have a breeder hose that runs back to the intake before turbo and thus model I have to block the intake hole...but I don't understand is that I have to put a plate under on the engine block in the oil pan
Can you make a video or tell me how to do it.i want to understand how it works
Because bro I'm the only person that working on these dad euro 4.5 and now 6

The dealer should of given you the parts bulletin "PB00313" for mx-13 or "PBO0311" for mx-11 which will contain the instructions on how to fit the modified CCV unit they sold you. Ask them for that and see how you get on 😎

I don't know how to test that ...can you tell me how to find a error unit ...I know when I unplug a unit on a truck I get 120 ohm and plug it back I get 60 ...but thus truck I get 120 ohms ....bro How can I locate the error one.....can you please explain it to me

@@TRUCKTECHUK hi bro .how are you
J have a error in red on my diagnostic tool bro ...when I diagnose the same truck I get a..(CAB.CLIMITE CONTROL ECU ERROR).bro can that be that I'm not getting the adblue system to activate because see it have a K line that go to the VIC 3 BOX.can it be that the adblue ECU is working with the Cab.climite control ECU to get the out side temperature to make the adblue heat up
Because now I'm getting 120 ohms and I think maybe it is that unit that giving the error and stopping the adblue to function back...csn it be why I'm getting 120 ohms not 60 ohms...please reply me

@@TRUCKTECHUK hey bro I like the Biden about the new DAF LF EURO 7 now I think...bro csn I ask you..or advice me more....the CAB.CLIMIT CONTROL ECU .do it have a function together with the adblue ECU and engine ECU unit
Because I'm getting a red error on it on my diagnostic tool and I think it had also to do with the CAN NETWORK too.is that why I'm getting 120 ohms instead of 60 ohms on the diagnostic plug..
