IN this video Heimler walks you through another one of your required cases for the AP Government curriculum, namely, Schenck v. United States. This is a case about the first amendment's protection of free speech and what potential limits there are on that speech. Out of this case came the "clear and present danger" test for free speech, but that has been subsequently replaced by the Brandenburg Test.
Got through AP World, APUSH and AP Gov with Heimler. I am still coming back to refresh my memory for my college classes. He is the best!!
I'd just like to say a huge thank you for all the work that you do!! Because of your videos, I was able to pass my APUSH class and my APUSH exam last year (I was a bit of a bad student and only studied the day before the exam, so your APUSH review videos were a much needed brush up on the material), and your videos are getting me through AP Gov currently. As a neurodivergent student who has trouble with note taking and a short attention span, your videos are so helpful to me because they highlight all the key concepts of a lesson / topic in an in depth manner, all while still being relatively short. Once again, I cannot thank you enough! :)
Thank you for helping with Schenck v. United States, United States Supreme Court, 249 U.S. 47, 39 S.Ct. 247, 63 L.Ed. 470 (1919). Your analysis helps with understanding and retention. The visuals are great.
Thank you so much! This series made learning about my required supreme court cases extremely easy!
