It’s first time here seeing your channel and not gonna lie, I was actually hanging around just to see what was watching you and crazy taking is midways through the video I peeped the 400ex looking into the garage and then when you showed what was watching you and it was that I laughed my ass off. Dude use a plastic kiddie pool and tape a tarp over it and cut hole in top of the tarp so you can spin the frame that's how I blasted my frames takes 2 hrs each frame and I filter the sand and reuse it
That's a good idea. I have big sheets of T6 aluminum here 12 foot long by 4 foot wide I want to make a big ass cabinet. I have a wave runner dolly to mount it on as well but I don't have a spool gun for welding aluminum. Well yet anyway.
got my first 400ex in 2001, and thinking about getting another one to restore ride. I found a great shape 2004 kfx 700 I just restored to New condition.. so that's my current ride, didn't think I would like it, but turns out I like it alot more than I thought would. May keep it for trails and do a 400ex or 450r this coming year.
I had a kfx700 I had gotten from a friend like damn 16 years ago but I only had it for 3 days someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse so I let it go but it was cool when I rode it. Thanks for the comment bro.

Obviously just buy a bottom end 05 or newer but I know there is that round embossed section on the clutch cover sidebut I'm not really sure if you can ad the gearing to it. If I find something about it I'll put it in a video in the future. I honestly never even use reverse on quads I've had over the years tho. Thanks for the comment bro.

I painted my bmw 22s white to color match the car last year and had the fan blowing outside right in front of my black harley if you can picture the result after...lol I was pissed after

Yeah it's even worse in my storage shed looks like 10 of them staring at me. And yeah I've tried aircraft remover it just doesn't get it all u still need sand blasting plus I like the texture the blasting leaves. It's a good base for primer and paint. I know people don't like painting them but it comes out very nice and durable if you take the rite steps and prep it properly
It holds up good for me, I don't make trails with my bikes either tho. I do my own powder coat now but if your gunna spray it it's all in the prep always use a good etching primer first, spray all your tight hard to reach spots first then the rest

How the paint job hold up? Currently sand blasting my 450 frame still debating on what primer and paint to use
