I find it interesting that the free worlds League realms has a lot of diverse European and people's which explains some of the Gothic architecture. also I find it intriguing of Regulus bloody past force leadership was brutal like that one house of Cameron crest insignia that has Egyptian look, I find Oriente assassination and political maneuvering interesting Making it a place of intrigue." 😃👍
I definitely want to. But I've yet to figure out how to handle their history. Most of the clans have a long-ass history that I can't cover in a single video, but segmenting it would make it seem like im nickle and diming content.
The Free Worlds, really exerting the taking of their own name seriously. Hooo, and the Narrator takes a personal hit from FASA's writers! Why did the Romanians' get targeted by their lore's ire? How about that ever-un-resurrected language of Latin, eh, Marian minions? The Commonwealth sound like a bunch of central-government snobs! Oh man, there are a couple of '80s IP “easter egg” gems included in this summary. Regulus' Prince Kirk Cameron (Jones)? Sounds like his region's suffered perpetual Growing Pains, with its territorial shrinkage and those “free states”. Which also sounds like a distinctly Indian-dominant region yet culturally open as though influecned by a former Indian empire. I see the Camerons have a planet named for their family but despite the ruling clan sharing lineage with and keeping up with the Joneses, that less fortunate house don't get such a privilege. The “SilverHawks” also caught my attention, recalling the 1986 cartoon. Adapting that concept into BattleTech would be something. Does the Hegemony know of Oriente's planet of Nova Roma? That slf-styled duchy is home to quite a variation of European nationalities, for planetary names at least. The widest spread of differing sources out of Europe that I've seen, actually, combined with their visibly...Oriental influenced worlds. Andurien's own apparently varied cultural references are obvious too, just lesser in number. So many religions so peacefully co-habitating alongside each other in such a wide expanse truly IS a daydream. Perpetual resistance to governance, however legitimate or not, is a seemingly natural consequence to such fancifully fictional demographics. I found the differing fashions through both function and style across the League to be of distinguishing interest. The faction's patchwork, nearly spontaneous, make-it-up-as-we-go governments also made for neat (er, not so neat) variety. And so I render you my thanks again for another entry in this comprehensive series, Narrator. Until your return and expansion of the lore, have a truly, freely awesome and healthy day.
It is a shame what happens to FWL after a few more years. During the Jihad. Also love new video for important planets in all of the major states. Can you do a videos of the latest situation in the timeline(2150 and beyond)?
I've definitely considered it, but its pretty challenging logistically. Does one just make a chronicle of major events, or does one talk about stuff in each major realm.
@@GrimDarkNarrator Well you can do the important events. And the 32 century is more fragmented with many more countries than the period between the Clan Invasion and the Jihad.

I’m glad we got a vid tour of my favorite faction!
4:31 😎.
I'm surprised how much medieval Italian style infighting there is between the provinces. It's like Venice vs Genoa part 2.
IN SPACE!
Grimdark narrator will you cover the individual clans, I know you did clan Burrock already, but hearing the other clans lore would be nice to hear.

Excellent video. Also, friggin Canopians.

I would think there's at least a world named in the Inner Sphere after every marginally-known country and city on Earth :D
Oh boy Mike SilverHawks is a classic I also think Spiral zone
Had one of the best intro songs I've ever heard."😃👍
For the Algorithm!

@@GrimDarkNarrator Major up to date lore. 2150 it is a lot more fragmented than pre jihad and post clan invasion era you talked about in this videos.

Missed chance for bird is the word joke
