    Correction: *Never approach a rabid Silver Fox in the wild. A healthy one would run from you.*

    This is actually the first time I see fox in this kind of context. When I usually hear about them it's in terms of: "Where my chickens at?".

    So she said only in the North like alaska. But I'm in Michigan and if you go to the upper peninsula you will find them. My step grandpa has a farm up there and he sees silver and red foxes playing all the time.

    And now you can find them as pets. Cause people are actually doing that. They are too cute and very low maintenance just like a dog. I've even seen people that have one with dogs and they get along just fine.

      I thought foxes were high maintenance?

    • @ScarlettKitsune
      @ScarlettKitsune 6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      They are high maintenance. They haven't had the thousands of years breeding out aggression that dogs have had. They're loyal and lovable, but they really need a great deal of attention. They're also naturally nocturnal.

    when you neglect to mention the literal most interesting fact about them-- that they're domestic. They were domesticated by the USSR in an attempt to figure out how man domesticated wolves. I don't understand how you can say they're the same exactly except for colour, when they are literally domesticated

    • @brandonzurawski691
      @brandonzurawski691 4 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      It's a color variation of a red fox, that's all. Silver foxes were domesticated in Russia (partly because of that specific fur trait, which is more appealing astecticly) but that doesn't mean they don't exist in the wild.
