I'm torn between white podgy doggo and just a doggo.
Nikita definitely moves her ears more like a cat than any of the other fox species as well. Not just flattening, but actively rotating to get sense of her entire surrounding at all times.
And her tail moves like a tail of the cat.
When she was off in the distance, w/ dim light, her shape and the way she moved was almost more cat like than fox like. I had no idea there was a hybrid canine meets feline breed out there. That's pretty neat. I was wondering how the heck a fox could climb way up a tree, the way that one does. I've seen it climb straight down for treats too, and was wondering how it managed. They have retractable claws like a cat too apparently.
Fun fact about cats that aren't taught to climb by their mom, they won't know they can climb trees either. Just like Mikaila tells us that the one grey fox could climb trees, but doesn't know that it can, I had a cat like that too.
I’ve Seen people say that they’re pests cuz they eat farmers chickens and hens etc. I know people who’ve neVer lost a chicken or a hen even when foxes are around. You need to make sure your chickens are safe. It’s up to the farmer to make sure the chicken area is fox proof as in no foxes can get in. Foxes are smart. Clearly the same can’t be said for some people.

I live in a European city, not in the center but not in the outskirts, and I had many sightings with urban foxes here and around, including in daylight. They are not domesticated, and most likely never will, hopefully, yet they don’t fear humans. They just live with us, benefiting from our leftovers, often living quite a mess behind at doing so, but that’s ok. It’s kinda nice to think that wild life can live peacefully in human cities. Fascinating animals they are for sure. I like them being around.

it's so interesting to see the differences. I've seen gray foxes in life the most because they've lived in our barn loft since I was a kid. They are not scared of us, and will climb up the barn wall, and walk right past us when we are putting up hay. When we hear the babies playing, we sneak up the ladder to watch. They like to spin turtle shells on the loft floor.
So lucky. More so that they trust your family (or as much as a wild fox will ever trust humans) to keep coming back.

I follow your videos as they are unique, entertaining, loving, and I appreciate the love and care you provide for them.

Yeah hunting for food is one thing but no one needs a fox hat or fox coat.
If you want a warm coat deer hide actually works well so if your eating deer anyway, you can use the fur for warmth but we all know it’s not about function.
Everyone has a right to feed themselves in an affordable manner (if you have no money but have a gun and a few rounds you could get permission to hunt on private property) and life must consume life. Even plants do this.
But we don’t need for farms and I wish they would be banned. So much suffering just so people can buy expensive jackets.
@@Marynicole830 I agree. My dad was a hunter and the one time he did bring home a deer I cried. I was a little girl and to me I told him he killed Bambi. That was traumatizing believe it or not. I don’t believe in killing any animals, but if they’re going to eat them, then I suppose that’s OK but I wouldn’t do it. I would eat plant life if I was hungry. I’m not a big meat anyway. I don’t believe in hunting as a sport. Most of the TH-cam channels I subscribe to are animals. Call me a bit of a loner, but I’d rather be around animals than people.

Wild arctic foxes are not that clumsy and disfigured-looking but actually as agile and swift as Red Foxes (see Finnegan for reference)
