GUITAR 16: NUX Mighty devices record video and guitar

- Present video is a reply to a lot of requests received, the purpose is show how to record a brief video, a Reel, a Short from your smartphone but using a usb audio interface like the NUX mighty devices to record you guitar with a high quality and no environmental noise.

And you can also record the guitar along with a backing track.. Firstly, you connect to mighty app using another android device.
Then you can do what you are showing to the video but before opening the "open camera" app, you start playing the backing track (TH-cam for example) on the smartphone with the otg cable.
Thanks for sorting this out and for sharing. It requires a second device but I recon it can be useful and I will try to replicate it the first opportunity
@@TutoJam I have to mention that i am using a mighty lite mk2 amp..
yes, unfortunately (at least my smartphone) does not record the guitar and any backing track from the mightyamp app,it only records the guitar sound. Same result when I tried some other apps playing backing tracks from the smartphone. Tried many settings but nothing.
So a second device did the trick. Didn't use mightier app though cause it's not yet available for the lite mk2
@bddb for this purpose mightier amp wouldn't change anything and for my knowledge mighty lite mk2 has the very same electronics than the mighty air. Including it's limitations. Your workaround seems smart enough😉

Ciao, non posso confermare per esperienza mai aspettato che funzioni con qualsiasi dispositivo che fa da scheda audio usb. Per lo Spark go mi risulta si possa fare direttamente dalla app ufficiale

I want to record a video with a bluetooth backing track. On the Mighty Plug Pro and Mighty Space, there's a loopback feature in the respective menu that makes this possible, but on the Mighty Air, there seems to only be a 'normal' option, like in the video.
Is it hardware-wise impossible on the Mighty Air?
Hi, too bad I have to confirm loopback is not available for mp2 or Air. Probably it is a matter of elaboration power, in any case Nux did not make it available.
Does it work on nux mighty lite bt?
As far as I know the mighty lite cannot be used as an audio card through usb so I fear not.
Using the Dolby On app it by default records both the microphone and the usb-c audio interface. Can't seem to disable the mic to avoid noises coming from the mic on my moto g52.

Just tried again and now it is only recording the usb-c audio interface. It might have been a glitch yesterday :( or some setup thing I do not grasp yet. When disabling the mic it seems it will not record. Neither usb-c nor mic. Need to investigate this a bit more I think.

Hi, I do not own it but I am expecting for it to work just like the mighty air. If you are on windows you need to download and install the ASIO drivers from the official website and after a reboot your PC should detect it as an audio card

Hi my friend, not yet but I can confirm the official camera app works fine. Just make sure the correct audio input to be selected. (When you connect the USB cable it should automatically select it but I'm the options you can select). You will need an adapter lightning/USB A. Bye

Hi again, is it very frequent or every 20-30 seconds? To my experience it can happen every now and then in case the smartphone is busy. Close any app but the one you use for recording and try again. Also make sure you are not clipping, if you see that happening more often when playing harder try reducing the usb output level in settings to prevent clipping. Hope this helps.
The Bluetooth dont work

@TutoJam I got it to work. The problem was I've been had. There is the nux mighty light. And the nux mighty light mk11. I down load the mighty light it works fine. But a complete waist of time .u only have access to the overdrive and distortion. And cannot run delay and reverb together. No good. They are selling them for the same price. So I should of did my homework a little better ha .
@user-xj5dj5lp3y sorry you had that "surprise". Do you have the possibility to return it and get the mk2? Mark 1 is still a great small amplifier, the sound in my opinion is better than the Mighty Air due to the larger speaker but it is limited in effects. Mark 2 takes the best of both worlds
