Just a tip…if your frame has a repeating design, be sure you center the design in each of the four pieces. It’s a little like matching stripes and plaids when you’re sewing.

It was so fun much to see the clips of your framing adventure - would enjoy watching a framing tutorial. Love the idea of the beginner-friendly herringbone mini kit...this might just be the impetus I need to learn how to use the vintage Singer machine I inherited, or buy a modern sewing machine!

I will be ordering the pattern when it comes out. I made my first Tiger Lily project keeper and need a herringbone insert to match!
I love your frame and I applaud the fact you did it. I have my husband do my frames, but I want to learn. Another suggestion, Michaels often has frames (in Canada about $8) that people have either not wanted or maybe have a slight mark etc. and they’re very beautiful.
Thanks for sharing. I also make my own from thrifted frames. There are some beautiful ones out there. I also use simulate clamps that you use. Already had it for other woodworking. I would rather spend my money on fancy floss, fabric and charts😊

I looked up Handmade by Sara W for her making your project keeper like you mentioned in your video, but I don't see any tutorial by her. Am I not seeing it? lol I see Lindystitches has a video, (which I haven't watched yet) but it's not 90 minutes. Is Sara who you meant?
Sorry for the confusion. Handmade by Sarah doesn’t have a video. I have an exclusive tutorial video that comes when you buy my pattern and Sarah has watched my video and made my Keeper dozens of times from it. She talks about how she pauses the video and does the step and then goes back for the next step.
